Romanticizing my weekend. ✨

Yesterday, jowa did his usual day-off routine—gave Snoopy a bath, cleaned the bathroom, and made lunch for us. Later that night, we went out for a walk, had Chai and Samosa, and spent 3 hours just walking around and talking about random things.

Today, I woke up (very late🫣) and did my usual weekend chores—cleaned the house and took care of the laundry.

Tapos na maglinis, Inday… pwede na magkape. 😬☕️

Not every weekend has to be grand or exciting—sometimes it’s just slow mornings, finished chores, long walks, good conversations, and coffee after cleaning. Learning to appreciate the ordinary makes life feel a little more beautiful. ☕️

Moving on and healing before entering a new relationship isn’t weakness, it’s emotional maturity. Kapag hindi pa healed, dala-dala mo talaga yung:

▪️Unresolved trauma
▪️Trust issues
▪️Emotional triggers
▪️Old relationship patterns
▪️Fear of abandonment or attachment issues

At ang mangyayari? Yung bagong tao ang sasalo ng sakit na hindi naman niya ginawa.

Healing is not about “being over” someone overnight. It’s about:

▫️Accepting your role and theirs
▫️Processing the pain
▫️Rebuilding your self-worth
▫️Learning better boundaries

Kapag healed ka, you don’t enter a relationship para punan ang void. You enter it because you’re already whole — you just want to share your wholeness with someone.

And that kind of love? Mas healthy. Mas stable. Mas intentional.❤️

I used to think I was late to life.
Watching everyone move faster made me question my own steps.

But I’m learning that my pace was never meant to look like theirs.

Your pace is not a race.
There’s no deadline on becoming who you’re meant to be.

Some things need time to grow roots before they bloom.
And that’s okay.

I’m choosing to trust my timing — and own it.
