5 Don'ts in Social Media Marketing
1. Overthink your Content
Sometimes, overthinking our content is the reason we make mistakes.
✨ Instead, keep it simple and understandable! So that your audience can understand your message better.
2. Hard sell your services/products
Social Media is all about creating value and building a community for the right audience. Bombarding your audience with your service and product every time you post also turn them off.
✨ Instead, provide something valuable to your audience every post
3. Overuse hashtags
There's no doubt that using hashtags will help your business get more exposure online but maxing out that 30 hashtags can be too much.
✨ Instead, research and include hashtags that is relevant to your post and niche instead of making it all generic.
4. Spam your followers
We would really want to always be out there when our audience is online but bombarding your followers with posts can make them feel overwhelmed!
✨ Instead, limit the number of posts you publish each day. Make those posts bring value to your followers and it can help increase brand loyalty
5. Don’t buy your followers
It is really tempting to purchase followers to improve brand’s online image, and hello?? 1k+ followers in an instant will make your eyes and ears ring! But these followers are usually bots or fake accounts
✨ Instead, focus on developing a well-rounded strategy and building up that loyal community that will give you genuine engagement.
