​Yarn: Medium weight (using indophil acrylic yarn) yarn—variegated yarn works beautifully to get that multidimensional teal look!

​Hook: 3.0mm or 3.5mm crochet hook.
​Base: A standard, seamless elastic hair tie.
​Extras: Yarn needle and scissors.

​Step-by-Step Instructions:

​Step 1: The Foundation (Cover the Elastic)
​Tie your yarn onto the hair elastic with a slip knot.

​Round 1: Insert your hook under the elastic, yarn over, and pull up a loop. Work Single Crochets (sc) all the way around the hair tie until the elastic is completely covered.
