𝘿𝙖𝙮 3 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙎𝙋𝙊𝙍𝙏𝙎 𝙁𝙀𝙎𝙏 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙!

On this day, many of the players prepared and fought for the top. These organizations showcased their hidden talents and skills in various games; the agility of ACES, the competitive spirit of CEA, the fierce fire of FLARE, the jockeying power of JPIA, and strategic thinking of SMHARTTS.

The audiences were very thrilled and pumped up in their seats as they witnessed the competitive and energetic games, from fast-paced basketball to deliberate volleyball matches. Many audience members were questioned on who they expect will rise to the top in the semi-finals for tomorrow. 🏀🏐♟️🏓

𝑫𝑨𝒀 2 | 𝑺𝑷𝑶𝑹𝑻𝑺 𝑭𝑬𝑺𝑻 𝑪𝑶𝑵𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑼𝑬𝑺 𝑨𝑺 𝑪𝑶𝑴𝑷𝑬𝑻𝑰𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵 𝑯𝑬𝑨𝑻𝑺 𝑼𝑷🔥✨

The 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁 carried on with students facing off in various 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲-𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 across the campus. Participants continued to showcase their skills, teamwork, and competitive spirit as matches and activities unfolded throughout the day.

Alongside the ongoing games, 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵𝘀 remained open to students, offering spaces for interaction and recreation. A 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 was also added to the festivities, giving students an opportunity to capture moments with their friends amid the competition.

With games still underway and students actively participating, the Sportsfest continued to bring the campus community together through competition, recreation, and camaraderie.

Day 1 was filled with confidence, creativity, and school spirit as IIST students took the runway and showcased their unique jerseys and styles.

From their confident walks to their expressive performances, the students brought energy and excitement to the event. Their presentations not only highlighted their individual styles but also reflected the identity, pride, and spirit of the organizations they proudly represented. 💙🎉🏆

𝑫𝑨𝒀 1: 𝑰𝑰𝑺𝑻 𝑪𝑶𝑳𝑳𝑬𝑮𝑬 𝑰𝑮𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑬𝑺 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑺𝑷𝑶𝑹𝑻𝑺𝑭𝑬𝑺𝑻 𝑺𝑷𝑰𝑹𝑰𝑻🔥

𝗜𝗠𝗨𝗦, 𝗖𝗔𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗘 — Cheers, colorful jerseys, and competitive energy filled the IIST gym as the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁 2026 officially opened, bringing students from different organizations together for a day of games, performances, and school spirit.

The celebration started with a 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲, where students marched and represented their respective organizations.

The crowd’s attention then shifted to the 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗽, as participants took the spotlight and confidently showcased their team-inspired looks.

The gym grew louder as organizations took turns performing their 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 routines, combining music, choreography, and coordinated movements to entertain the crowd. The festivities continued with various 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀, giving students the chance to compete, strategize, and represent their organizations.

Outside the gym, students also visited different 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵𝘀, adding another attraction to the day’s activities. Meanwhile, the 𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄𝘀 kept the crowd engaged as students waited for their names to be called and hoped to take home prizes.

From the opening parade to the games and activities throughout the day, Day 1 brought the IIST College community together beyond the classroom. With more competitions and activities ahead, the first day marked the beginning of a Sportsfest filled with excitement, participation, and school pride.

September is Su***de Prevention Month, a reminder that what you feel matters. Many things are happening around us every day, but we should never forget to check on ourselves and acknowledge what is happening within us.

Sometimes, it can be difficult to reach out to others when we are going through something. But we need to remember that we are not alone. Everyone carries different struggles and emotions each day, but that doesn’t mean we have to carry them by ourselves. Reach out when things become too heavy to handle alone.

Choose to be kind. Choose to understand. Give yourself permission to rest and pause when you need to.
