Wearing light-colored clothing and remaining alert for signs of heat stress are also recommended.
Meanwhile, the Office of the Campus Administrator of Cavite State UniversityβImus Campus announced that face-to-face final examinations will proceed as scheduled on June 2, 2026, despite the forecast 41Β°C heat index in Imus City.
The advisory directed all students and faculty members to report onsite and follow their respective examination schedules. The university also urged the academic community to observe proper hydration and other precautionary measures against heat-related illnesses.
As elevated heat conditions continue to affect the city, local officials and educational institutions encourage the public to remain vigilant and stay updated through official weather and safety advisories. [F]
