Wins, points, statistics, and playing time are easy to measure.

Effort, confidence, character, and growth are not.

Yet these are often the qualities that shape a young athlete long after the season ends.

At Scholastic Sports Camp, we believe sport is a vehicle for learning life lessons. Through our STAR Values: Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Attitude, and Respect. We aim to help young people grow not only as athletes, but as individuals.

Just finished watching American Hustle (2013), directed by David O. Russell.

A multi-award-winning film that earned over $250 million worldwide, it is less about the con and more about people: flawed, complicated individuals searching for love, acceptance, success, and a second chance.

What stayed with me most was the humanity behind the deception.

And the soundtrack? Absolutely fantastic. A nostalgic journey through the 1970s that gives the film much of its charm and soul.

A stylish, funny, and surprisingly thoughtful film that reminds us that sometimes the biggest hustle is the story we tell ourselves. 🎬🎶✨
