Big Slim Records Big Slim Records, founded in 2008 by brothers Leovic “Big-L” Abad and Oliven “Slim-O” Abad of MOBBDAWGS (est. 2002), is an underrated Cavite-based studio.

They also formed BNC (Baluarte ng Cavite), a respected rap organization in the local scene. Big Slim Records is an underrated recording studio with deep roots in the Cavite underground hip-hop scene. It was founded in 2008 by brothers Leovic Abad a.k.a. Big-L and Oliven Abad a.k.a. Slim-O—two passionate artists who started their journey in 2002 with their rap group, MOBBDAWGS. What began as a drea

m between two brothers turned into a solid movement when they built their own studio to give local talent a voice. That same year, they launched a rap organization called BNC or Baluarte ng Cavite, which quickly became a respected name in the underground rap community. Known for its raw energy, lyrical depth, and pride in Cavite roots, BNC helped put countless aspiring rappers on the map. Though Big Slim Records may not have received mainstream attention, its impact on the culture is undeniable. It stands as a symbol of real, grassroots hip-hop—built by artists, for artists, with nothing but passion, loyalty, and love for the game.
