Syria's Port of Tartus is set to become a key gateway for regional trade and logistics dpworld
Through a 30-year agreement with Syria's General Authority for Land and Sea Ports - signed in the presence of President Ahmed Al-Sharaa - we're investing USD 800 million to modernize infrastructure, upgrade terminals, and install digital cargo systems.
Our goal is to create a resilient, multi-modal logistics hub that connects Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa - and supports Syria's long-term reintegration into global trade.
As we modernize Tartus, we're also looking ahead - laying the groundwork for future logistics corridors, free zones, and trade platforms that will support long-term development across key trade lanes.
