To: All Elected College Student Leaders (ECCC Officers, Departmental and Curricular Officers, Club and Organization Officers)

Dear College Claretian Student Leaders,

Warm greetings!

You are officially invited to participate in the College Student Leadership Training 2025 with the theme: IGNITE THE LEADER WITHIN: Synergy, Strategy, and Service - A Leadership and Team Building Seminar with Planning and Goal-Setting Workshop for Elected Student Leaders

This three-day formation program is designed to equip all newly elected student leaders with essential leadership competencies, planning skills, and team-building experiences aligned with the Core Values (J.U.S.T.I.C.E) of CCI. This is a mandatory training for all student government and organization officers.

🔹 What to Expect:
• Leadership identity and self-awareness sessions
• Planning and goal-setting workshops
• Campus clean-up drive and eco-leadership integration
• Fellowship and bonding activities
• Acquaintance & Get-Together Night (Vintage-Retro Theme!)

🔹 Registration Fee: Php 400.00 (To be paid directly to the CCI Cashier) Inclusive of meals, certificates, and other logistical needs.

🔹 IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
• Registration Forms and Parent Consent Forms will be available through your Department Presidents, Vice Presidents, ECCC Officers.
• Deadline for submission of forms and payment will be on July 23, 2025.

This training is MANDATORY for all student leaders and marks the beginning of your leadership journey this academic year. Let us come prepared—physically, mentally, and spiritually—to become the leaders our fellow Claretians need.

RE: Required Participation – Physical Fitness Activity

Please be reminded that the Grand Zumba Physical Fitness Activity will be held on:

🗓 Date: Friday, July 18, 2025
🕗Time: 8:00 AM
📍Venue: CCI Covered Court

This is a required activity for all students under PE, NSTP, and other subject areas as part of the Nutrition Month celebration.

✅ Wear your physical fitness attire
✅ Arrive on time
✅ Sign the attendance sheet upon arrival and before dismissal

Your cooperation and active participation are expected and appreciated.

Bridging the Gap: College Graduating Seminar-Workshop Equips Students for Career Success

Isabela City, March 14-15, 2025 – Claret College of Isabela, Inc. College Unit in partnership with El Consejo Claretiano de Colegio (ECCC) successfully launched the College Graduating Seminar-Workshop, themed "Bridging the Gap: From Campus to Career Success." The event aimed to equip graduating students with essential professional skills, preparing them for the realities of the workforce.

The program commenced with an assembly and registration, followed by an opening prayer and the singing of the national anthem. The morning session featured opening remarks from Dr. Daisideria O. San Luis (Dean, COED, BSSW), Robert V. Carbayas (Student Affairs & Services Officer), and Dr. Annie A. Calago (Dean, BSBA, BSIS). Their insights highlighted the importance of preparing students for the next chapter of their careers.

A keynote address by Ms. Lea Fae L. Diaz (Assistant Principal for Academics) titled “Embracing the Workforce: Skills for the 21st Century” set the tone for the day, emphasizing adaptability, communication, and career-building strategies.

Students then participated in a series of interactive seminar-workshops led by esteemed professionals:

Topic 1: Career Readiness
Speaker: Dr. Amil A. Hatta, Education Program Supervisor, Department of Education (DepEd) - Isabela City

Dr. Hatta provided insights into workforce expectations, job market trends, and strategies for career advancement, ensuring that students understood the essential steps to kickstart their careers.

Topic 2: Professional Communication
Speaker: Ms. Ma. Veragel Q. Peñaflor, Administrative Officer V, DepEd - Isabela City

Ms. Peñaflor emphasized the importance of clear, effective communication in professional settings.

Topic 3: Personal Branding
Speaker: Mr. Michael M. Jolo, Provincial Officer, Department of Information and Communications Technology

Mr. Jolo guided students on how to establish a strong personal brand, both online and offline, to enhance employability and career growth.

Topic 4: Workplace Adaptability & Financial Literacy
Speaker: Mr. Salman Hassan, Budget Officer I, City Budget Office

Mr. Hassan discussed how to navigate workplace challenges, manage finances effectively, and adapt to ever-changing job environments.

Topic 5: Human Relations in the Workplace
Speaker: Mr. Christopher S. Borcelas, Ms. Sherrilyne Alexis I. Luis, Ms. Sherina C. Jamao, Mr. Paul F. Suyu, DOLE Personnel - Isabela City

This session explored effective interpersonal skills, teamwork, and conflict resolution strategies essential for a harmonious work environment.

Topic 6: PhilHealth Insurance Overview - Understanding PhilHealth benefits and how to maximize healthcare coverage.

Topic 7: Pag-IBIG Fund Overview & Membership Registration - The importance of Pag-IBIG membership for financial security and home ownership opportunities.

The seminar concluded with a closing assessment by Mr. Geronimo M. Salomes Jr., ECCC Moderator, where he encouraged students to apply their newly gained knowledge in their future careers and continuously strive for excellence.

With enthusiastic participation and valuable insights from expert speakers, the seminar-workshop proved to be a significant step in preparing Claret College of Isabela’s graduating students for success beyond the classroom. As their journey continues, students look forward to further refining their skills and gaining industry insights to ensure a smooth transition from campus to career.
