Our community gathers in praying for the Novena to Our Lady of La Salette, preparing our hearts to celebrate her Feast Day today, September 19.

The novena has been such a beautiful journey. These are days of turning toward Mary, our loving Mother, and listening to her message of prayer, reconciliation, and penance. As we continue to pray together, we remember that Maryโ€™s message at La Salette comes from a mother weeping over her children, gently calling us back to God with love and mercy.

John Ian Nahpadan has done it again. Representing the Legislative District 3, he struck gold in Taekwondo for the ISPAA and is officially qualified for CAVRAA 2026. For four years now, he has carried the schoolโ€™s and town's name with pride, competing with perseverance and consistency year after year.

"In my past years of competing, what I truly felt was joy and satisfaction with my performances," John Ian shared. "This year, all my efforts truly did not go to waste. Every long training session and every hard day was worth it."

His journey shows that success doesnโ€™t happen by accident, it comes from working hard, and never giving up. John Ian has proven that with passion and discipline, dreams really do come true.
