A servant of man and a slave of Christ.
Colossians 3:22-25

Slaves, in all things obey those who are your masters on earth, not with external service, as those who merely please men, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord. Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve. Colossians 3:22-24

1 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭.

22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything, not only to please them while they are watching, but with sincerity of heart and fear of the Lord.

Serving your earthy master in obedience is submitting to the Word of God. The mentioned phrase in verse 22 " working as for the Lord, and not for men." And another Scripture that supports this is found in Matthew 20:26, "Whoever wants to become great among you shall be your servant."

2. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚 𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚 𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐝.

23 Whatever you do, work at it with your whole being, for the Lord and not for men,

24 because you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as your reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Now people were bringing the little children to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them, and the disciples rebuked those who brought them. Do you know where your fights and arguments come from? They come from the selfish desires that make war inside you. You want things, but you do not have them. So you are ready to kill and are jealous of other people. But you still cannot get what you want. So you argue and fight. You do not get what you want because you do not ask God. Or when you ask, you do not receive because the reason you ask is wrong. You want things only so that you can use them for your own pleasures. So, you people are not faithful to God! You should know that loving the world is the same as hating God. So if a person wants to be a friend of the world, he makes himself God’s enemy. Do you think the Scripture means nothing?
