Exactly TEN YEARS ago…Graduate Again!!!

“PAANO MO NAGAWA AT NAKAYA LAHAT?”
This is probably the question I have heard the most over the past four and half years despite of being a student nurse, accountant, a wife and a mother of one toddler and One year old baby. To be honest, there were many times when I asked myself the same question. There were days when I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and running on very little sleep, doubting myself. Yet here I am today, finally celebrating a milestone that once felt so far away—a journey that proved that determination, hard work, and faith can take you places you never imagined.
Four and half years ago, I decided to enrolled again in University in Nueva Ecija. Someone’s offer me na magschool ulit and take Nursing to achieve my America’s dream. (Parang isang taon ko din tong pinag isipan kasi during this time I am Hotel Accountant in Manila, diba sayang naman sahod😂 pero I chose na mag change ng career para sa ikakabago ng Generation ng aking mga anak at magiging apo.) Despite there is a risk na hindi maging successful dahil narin alam nyo na napakahigpit sa America lalo na ngayon, so dapat my Plan B tayo at ready sa any circumstances na dumating. So wayback 2021 I enrolled in my BS NURSING at Our Lady of Fatima University-Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija no baby yet haha. In my second year, my first pregnancy came with my eldest Saryel, the reason why I delayed my graduation supposed to be May 2025. And in my forth year, my second pregnancy with baby Zach haha (with PCOS according to my OB pero nakadalawa pa 🤣)
While many saw the goal, only a few witnessed the countless sacrifices behind it—the late nights studying after putting my child to sleep, clinical duties graveyard shift, Faraway hospital duties before my graduation🤣 post test which helps me a lot in my PNLE, the deadlines of filling to BIR, New Business of my client need to registered ,being a housewife, a mother who need to prepare foods for my babies, the cramming, the exams, and the constant balancing act between work, and personal growth. Every semester came with its own challenges, but I kept reminding myself why I started. This is for my America’s dream so be gentle, consistent and enjoy the flow and make it precious para di mabored and gumive up.
Throughout this journey, I wore many hats.
▫️A wife
▫️A daughter and sister
▫️Pasabuy’s and Perfumes (salamat sa lahat ng bumili classmates and professors, CI)
▫️Freelancer Accountant
▫️Realty Sales Agent
▫️Entered the world of online sellers
▫️and most importantly, remained a hands-on mother.
There were days when my schedule seemed impossible, when 24 hours didn’t feel enough. Yet somehow, I found a way to keep moving forward, multi tasking and time management is the key and constant prayers.
None of this would have been possible without my partner Ryan and soon to be my husband🥰, who stood beside me throughout this entire journey. While many people saw the achievements, he was the one who witnessed every late night, every stressful topics, every moment of self-doubt, and every sacrifice behind the scenes. He saw me juggle motherhood, work, studies, and multiple side hustles, yet he never stopped believing in me. Through the highs and lows, he remained my greatest supporter, constant encourager, and strongest source of strength. This milestone is not mine alone—it is ours. His love, patience, understanding, and unwavering support carried me through some of the most challenging years of my life, and I am deeply grateful to have had him by my side every step of the way. Yabby ko, always thankful of you. Mahal na mahal kita.

Thank you guys for a big understanding dahil Hindi na ako nakakatulong financially— (as eldest it is responsibility )and huge support to my Nursing Journey, and to take care of our kids pag busy ako, Kami ni Ryan. Mahal na mahal ko kayo.
To all my classmates, duty-mates, Professors, Clinical Instructors maraming salamat po sa Inyo, Ang daming learnings, new experienced, knowledge,naenjoy ko ang nursing journey ko despite the hardship and stress. 🥰😘😍 I will miss you all 🥲❤️
To answer, everything has been made possible because of God. God was always with me in every chapter of my life. He gave me wisdom, strength and patience to carry everything. All the Glory only belongs to you, Oh Lord! Maraming salamat Panginoon.
To every mother, working professional, and dreamer who feels overwhelmed by the responsibilities they carry—keep going. Your journey may not be easy, but every sacrifice will be worth it. If there’s one thing this experience has taught me, it’s that with faith, hard work, and God’s grace, nothing is impossible. MAGTIWALA KA LANG MGA KA-DUTY.
