Isiah Alakiu was once among the UK’s top young Filipino basketball talents — throwing down dunks at just 6’1” 👀. He even received an invite to join Batang Gilas, but chose a different route.

Now a standout with Brighton’s U18 academy, Alakiu is ready to represent the Philippines U23 squad in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers! 🙌🔥

Quick update, Kots Nashy Fam! 🙌 After 12 hours and 45 minutes on the road from General Santos City to Davao, then Bukidnon, and finally Jasaan Misamis Oriental—I just want to thank God for keeping me and my family safe as we traveled to Polomolok last August 21 for the 1st The Fit Football Cup (August 23–24). 🙏⚽️

I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to inspire kids and share this beautiful game with them. Huge thanks to FC Polomolok for the warm invitation, and to all the players, parents, coaches, and management—it was truly an honor to be part of your tournament. Meeting the Kots Nashy Fam in South Cotabato, as well as other parents, coaches, and players from different clubs, filled me with so much happiness. Your smiles and football stories continue to fuel my passion and strengthen my advocacy. ❤️

Kots Nashy Fam, I’ll be uploading all the content throughout this week. It might take a little time, but you’ll definitely see yourself in the videos! 🎥⚽️

Because of this act of kindness, I salute Coach Paolo Patawaran of Tortol Grounds - 7 A-Side Football Field.
