The Digital Transformation Office (DTO) of Sulu State College conducted a stakeholder meeting with the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) to support the planning and development of the institution’s Human Resource Information System. The meeting was held in collaboration with the HRMO, headed by Ms. Sherryl Kathleen Muddasil, HRMO, together with the HR Office staff.

The discussion primarily revolved around the attendance management component of the proposed HR system. Key points included defining functional requirements for time-in/time-out monitoring, biometric device integration, overtime recording, exception handling, and the generation of accurate attendance reports. The dialogue emphasized the importance of reliability, data accuracy, policy alignment, and streamlined workflows to enhance workforce management and administrative efficiency.

This collaborative engagement underscores the shared commitment of the Digital Transformation Office and the Human Resource Management Office of Sulu State College to implement responsive and sustainable digital solutions that strengthen institutional operations.

In this meaningful celebration, Sulu State College joins the entire community in honoring Jolo’s rich history, vibrant cultural heritage, and the unity and resilience of its people as Araw ng Jolo is observed every February 11 in commemoration of the Municipality of Jolo’s founding anniversary.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 024, Series of 2014, and Ordinance No. 04, Series of 2014, February 11, 2026 (Wednesday) is declared a Special Non-Working Holiday in the Municipality of Jolo.

The Digital Transformation Office (DTO) conducted a formal stakeholder meeting with the Registrar’s Office as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional processes through digital innovation. The meeting was led by the DTO Director, Mr. Adzhar A. Abduhadi, together with the rest of the DTO team, in collaboration with the Registrar’s Office headed by Ms. Lyn D’Amor Moreno, RN, Acting College Registrar, along with her staff.

The discussion centered on strategic approaches to fast-track the processing and release of the Transcript of Records (TOR), addressing existing bottlenecks and identifying technology-driven solutions to improve turnaround time and service efficiency. Additionally, the meeting tackled the utilization of system-generated grading sheets, a key initiative aimed at ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability in academic records while reducing manual workload and processing delays.

This collaborative engagement underscores the shared commitment of the Digital Transformation Office and the Registrar’s Office to enhance academic services at Sulu State College, improve operational efficiency, and support data-driven governance through sustainable digital transformation initiatives.

The 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 successfully concluded a four-day technical engagement with Sir Jose Flavio Castillo of Asia Pacific College, held from February 3–6, 2026, centered on a comprehensive review of the institution’s Information Technology and Information Systems Infrastructure. The activity served as a strategic initiative to evaluate current systems, reinforce operational standards, and provide key recommendations aimed at advancing digital services and institutional efficiency.

On behalf of Sulu State College — The Digital Transformation Office (DTO) extends its sincere appreciation to Sir Jojo for the meaningful collaboration and for generously sharing valuable technology insights, practical expertise, and professional guidance throughout the engagement. The knowledge shared has greatly contributed to strengthening our team’s perspective and ongoing initiatives toward innovation and service excellence.

First introduced during the Student Assembly, we are pleased to announce that it is now available for download and access by Stalwart students.
