Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the locality reflecting national as well as worldwide data; and October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and support the ongoing fight against breast cancer. It’s also a reminder of the importance of early detection, regular self-exams, and screening through mammograms.

Wear pink to honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, and remember those we’ve lost to breast cancer.

Hingpit nang gisugdan ang selebrasyon sa maong kalihokan, gisugdan kini sa Opening Parade nga gisalmotan sa mga Barangay Official lakip na ang players sa matag barangay. Gipahigayon kini sa bag-o nga Municipal Gymnasium nga hamogaway ug plastar nga pag saulog sa maong kalihokan.

❗ Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizen❗

Midawat sa ilang quarterly pension ang mga katiguwangan sa lungsod sa Josefina human kini gipahigayon sa buhatan sa DSWD. Lipay ang hulagway sa maong nanawat tungod kay dako na kaayu kining tabang sa ilang panginahanlanon lakip na sa ilang konsomo matag adlaw. Atol sa maong pagpahigayon gi saulog usab ang 2025 National Celebration of Elderly Filipino Week.

Bukas na ang Bakuna Eskwela Program na handog ng Department of Health – Zamboanga Peninsula Center for Health Development katuwang ang Department of Education Region IX.

Isasagawa ito nang sabay-sabay sa Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga City at Isabela City upang mabigyan ng libreng proteksyon laban sa HPV, Tigdas, Rubella, Tetanus at Dipterya.

Target na mabakunahan:
✅ Mga batang Grade 1
✅ Mga batang Grade 7
✅ Mga babaeng Grade 4 laban sa HPV

Sa pamamagitan ng programang ito, masisig**o natin na ang bawat mag-aaral ay ligtas mula sa mga sakit at handang makamit ang kanilang mga pangarap sa isang masigla at malusog na kapaligiran.

Hinihikayat ang lahat ng mga magulang, g**o at komunidad na makiisa at suportahan ang Bakuna Eskwela para sa kinabukasan ng ating mga kabataan!

Sama-sama tayong magbigay proteksyon, sama-sama para sa mas malusog na Zamboanga Peninsula!
