As time goes by, the weight of this tragedy only becomes heavier, especially after the deaths of these two student-athletes. As someone who came from a poor family, I deeply feel and share the pain and sorrow of what happened to them. No one saw it coming.
This reminds me once again that death can come at any moment—while you're doing what you love, while you're just beginning to build your dreams, or while your loved ones are still not ready to let you go. Life can change in an instant.
Our mission on this earth can end at any time when God calls us back home. Yet, as human beings, we cannot help but grieve when someone we dearly love leaves without warning. It is heartbreaking, but it is also a reality that all of us will eventually face.
That is why we should cherish every moment with our families, friends, and loved ones. Make memories, express your love, and never take your time together for granted. Because one day, in the most unexpected moment, the people we hold closest to our hearts may no longer be with us.
