Not out of hate, but a commitment to stand on the truth of God’s Word. The Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. Pastors are called to guide and teach us, but if their preaching is no longer centered on Scripture and begins to go beyond or against what the Bible teaches, then we must be cautious.

That is why we should always pray for wisdom and discernment when we listen to preaching. It is important that we bring our Bibles every Sunday and continue reading them daily, so we can personally examine whether what is being taught aligns with God’s Word, and not be led astray.
