Garcia College of Technology Supreme Student Council conducted Leadership Training and Workshop held at Don Florencio M. Garcia Memorial Hall on June 4, 2025 with the theme: "Believe, Explore, Triumph: Leadership Excellence Through Personal Growth."

Leadership Training and Workshop showcased different talks by the resource speakers which include Ms. Cyna Marie Franco, Local Government Operations Officer-DILG Aklan. She highlighted the importance of Emotional Intelligence in leaderhip quoting, “Leadership is not domination. It's the art of persuading people to work towards a common goal. We are all leaders in our own way."

Hon. Mark Vega Quimpo of Sangguniang Panlalawigan tackled about Parliamentary Procedures. He specifically quoted, “Each decision and interaction shapes our shared future. Let us do good now for this moment to contribute together.”

Janica Dela Peña, Provincial Youth Development Officer, tackled the effects of strong self-discipline in leadership and teams. “Sucess is a few simple discipline practice it everyday. Small habits can change your life.”

This event was made possible by GCT SSC Adviser Engr. Calvin Leigh Dalida and Ms. Weralyn Señeris, and various GCT Student Organizations.

‎Garcia College of Technology Celebrates 19 New CPAs, Surpasses National Average in May 2025 CPA Board Exam

‎Garcia College of Technology (GCT) proudly announced that 19 of its graduates passed the May 2025 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination, according to the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on June 4, 2025.

‎GCT posted a 44.19% passing rate, significantly higher than the national average of 33.11%, reflecting the school’s continued commitment to academic excellence and professional readiness in accountancy education.

‎Civil Engineers Licensure Exam (CELE) held last April 2025 produced a rate of 29.21% (4, 940) out of 16, 913. Released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), GCT has an overall passing rate of 39.08%, and an impressive 47.83% passing rate for first-time takers. The COMBATS Team has once again made a history when they emerged as the new titleholder of the Overall Champion title in today's Literary, Musical, and Dance Competitions, held at Teodosio Sports and Cultural Complex, March 3.

The back-to-back clinching of places by their contestants in every contest has earned their triumphant claim on the most wanted title. Their determination and skill paid off as they won over the great teams of the Civil Engineering Team, CEIHMS Team, and the Accountancy Team. The exciting competition was intense with the CE team clinching the 1st place, followed by the CEIHMS team winning the 2nd place, and the Accountancy team landing on the 3rd place.

When talents and skills rained from above, these individuals must have been awake and filling their buckets 'til it pours. The crowd was on fire, cheering for every beat, every move, and every drop! The competition was a nonstop rollercoaster of energy.

The stage came alive with vibrant colors and graceful movements as the Literary-Musical-Dance Competitions 2025 showcased the rich cultural heritage of folk dance.

They all succesfully delivered an unforgettable showcase of culture and artistry. Their jiggling moves and contagious smile excites every spectators. The event not only celebrated talent but also strengthened the appreciation for traditional dance among students.

Beautiful rhythms fill the atmosphere of the stadium from the performances of the talented participants in the singing competitions. The Vocal Solo (Classical) contestants serenade the audience with their magnificent voices while preserving the cultural heritage of classical songs. Meanwhile, during the second segment, which is the Vocal Solo (OPM), the Filipino spirit fills the venue as the talented participants exhibit their beautiful voices while proudly performing Filipino songs on the stage. The segment of Vocal Duet emphasizes the sweet melodies merging the charming vocals of each participant. These competitions highlight the excellence of the Garcians, not just in academic endeavors, but also in talent exhibitions.
