Wala naman akong itinago sa industriyang kinalakihan at minahal ko. Everyone from the industry, especially the people from the press will stand, especially yung mga kasabay kong lumaki at tumanda na dito.

And I just really love my work. Struggles will always come naman when your starting eh! I think of me, as really just working. Hindi ko talaga inisip ang sarili ko nung bata ako na artista, alam kong talent ako, because I started as a talent. Mga anak ako ni ate Maricel Soriano or kapatid niya ako. My first roles before when I was starting, pampadami lang talaga ako ng mga bata, mga extra sa pelikula ng Regal Films, and I was really just enjoying.

Ang sweldo ko noong araw, para sa isang buong pelikula na talent ka was 100 a day, for Mara Clara is 1,500 per taping day, and hindi ko kinwestiyon yon. I respected it, because I know I have to earn my spot, but in my mind I thought, baka naman hindi ako mag tatagal dito. So growing up, it was already stuck in my head, I have to keep on saving. Because, I don't know kung hanggang kailan ako dito.

The first thing that I really did was, nakapag-ipon ako ng 10,000 pesos during the 90's insurance agad, kumbaga tabi agad. Kasi nga feeling ko hindi nman ako mamahalin, kasi hindi nman ako mestiza , hindi nman ako kagandahan. I know my talent ako, but at that time, I think it wasn't enough.

✈️💔 She was supposed to come home today…
From Kuwait to Japan to Manila, then finally to Cebu —
Wilma Auza was just miles away from home.
But she never made it.

Instead of a joyful reunion, her family received the most heartbreaking news.

💔 Wilma Auza, an overseas Filipino worker, had just arrived from Japan.
She boarded a bus in Cebu — excited, hopeful, and eager to surprise her loved ones.
But somewhere along the road… she passed away. Alone.
The cause: cardiac arrest.

🧳 Her luggage was filled with gifts.
But her body carried something heavier — years of silent sacrifice.
She was tired. Too tired.
And no one knew how close she was to breaking — not out of weakness,
but from always giving, and never resting.

You are brave — but you are also human.
Please, listen to your body.
Rest is not a reward. It is a necessity.
You don’t need to break just to prove your love.

Encourage them to rest. Push for regular check-ups.
Remind them they are valued — not just for what they send,
but for who they are.

Coming home alive matters more than coming home with pasalubong.

𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐦𝐚 𝐀𝐮𝐳𝐚 — an OFW who had just arrived from Japan — was so close to finally being home. She boarded a bus from Cebu, just a few miles away from her hometown, excited to surprise her loved ones.

But she never made it. 💔
She died on that bus. Alone. Of cardiac arrest.
