The Saint Gabriel College High School community gathered in high spirits for the most anticipated part of the Acquaintance Party, a celebration of talent, camaraderie, and school pride on August 8, 2025. The program unfolded with elegance and excitement, enhanced by a touch of fantasy and magic, as students showcased their confidence, creativity, and charm in various categories.
The afternoon opened with the parade of attire, starting with the high school students and teachers, followed by an invocation from Arabella Marie B. Barrios, Grade 8 Representative of the Supreme Student Leaders Government (SSLG). Bianzen Mariz G. Bulanon, SSLG Assistant Secretary-Treasurer, delivered the reading of guidelines, while SSLG President Nessa Belle C. Molas introduced the distinguished board of judges.
The event featured multiple categories, including Production Number, School Uniform, and Formal Attire, with a lively intermission performance by the SGCHS Dance Troupe, Wings in Motion, and standout student talents such as Stephanie Tubieros from Grade 11 Diligence and Althea Faith T. Antoni and Euna Carillo, both from Grade 7 Faith.
In addition to the main pageant rounds, awards for Vocal Solo, Character Impersonation, Dish Garden, and Mass Demonstration were presented. The stage was further lit with the presentation of Special Awards recognizing Most Photogenic, Mister and Miss Congeniality, Peopleโs Choice, Best in Production Number, Best in School Uniform, Best in Formal Attire, Best in Interview, and Mister and Miss Charity.
The highlight of the night came when John Roy Aleen N. Ruiz, a Grade 12 STEM student, and Alleah Vie D. Ortega, Grade 9 Honesty, were crowned as the new Mister and Miss Acquaintance 2025. Both impressed the judges and audience with their poise, authenticity, and stage presence.
Adding to their achievements, John Roy Aleen N. Ruiz and Princess J'Andreih S. Panadero, both Grade 12 candidates, also earned the titles of Mister and Miss Charity.
The evening closed with the announcement of major awards by the masters of ceremonies, Mr. Ken Bryan I. Irarum and Ms. Lea C. Magdaluyo, followed by the presentation of certificates to the judges and a joyful photo opportunity. The night sealed itself in memory as a celebration of SGCHSโ talent, unity, and passion.
