Saint Gabriel College โ High School dominated the Kalibo I District Scilympics 2025 with the theme โHarnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future through Science and Innovation,โ held last October 15, 2025, at Kalibo Pilot Elementary School.
The event began with an opening program headed by Ms. Jaira Joyce Senining. It was attended by nine high schools in Kalibo I District, with a total of 84 student participants. Saint Gabriel College - High School was represented by ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ซ๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐, ๐ฒ๐๐๐ ๐ฑ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ฑ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐

The representatives of SGCHS fought until the end in the Mega Quiz Bee Elimination Round. Seven out of the eight representatives were able to climb to the Top 10 and advance to the Oral Round. Elijah De Mateo, Grade 7, emerged as the Champion of the Mega Quiz Bee for Grade 7 and will represent Kalibo I at the Division Level Scilympics. His fellow Grade 7 student, Kate Jillian Alfaro, also achieved an impressive 5th-place finish.
Meanwhile, the group composed of Elijah De Mateo, Jeremiah Carl Pascual, Raine Lance Calape, and Guia Natal competed in the Create, Show, and Tell Competition. Through teamwork and dedication, the team secured the Championship Title and will also represent Kalibo I District at the Division Level.
Saint Gabriel College โ High School proudly brought home district-level victories and is now preparing for the upcoming Division-level competitions.
