My 1-Peso Thoughts "A Mother's Dilemma: Raising Children from Two Different Generations
They say children don't come with instruction manuals, and I couldn't agree more—especially when you're raising children born 14 years apart.
My eldest is a Gen Z, while my youngest belongs to Gen Alpha. Raised with the same values but shaped by different times, they see the world in unique ways. What inspires one may not motivate the other, and the parenting approaches that worked before don't always work today.
As a mother, I've learned that parenting isn't about raising children who think alike—it's about nurturing individuals with kindness, integrity, resilience, and faith.
Technology, trends, and generations will continue to change, but a parent's love and values remain timeless.
Perhaps the greatest lesson is not learning how to parent different generations, but learning how to grow with them.
Just my one-peso thought for this month.
