𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗖𝗨𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗬𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗡 𝗨𝗪𝗔𝗡

Based on the Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment (PDRA) conducted earlier at 3:00 PM, led by MDRRMC Chairwoman Hon. Beth Q. Baguio-Ali, the following are the designated evacuation centers in the Municipality of Kapatagan in preparation for the possible impacts of Typhoon Uwan.

The list includes the barangays to be accommodated and their respective persons-in-charge, to ensure an organized and efficient preparedness and response operation.

For everyone’s safety, please follow the advisories issued by your Barangay Officials, the MDRRMO Kapatagan and the Official FB Page of Lungsod Sa Kapatagan.

The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) remains under Blue Alert Status. In line with the preparations for Typhoon Uwan, all Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (BDRRM) Committees, together with their resources and response assets, are directed to be strategically positioned and on standby in case of emergencies.

MUNICIPAL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT COUNCIL (MDRRMC)
KAPATAGAN, LANAO DEL NORTE

RE: SUSPENSION OF CLASSES DUE TO MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINS

Due to the prevailing moderate to heavy rainfall being experienced in some parts in the Municipality of Kapatagan, and upon assessment and recommendation of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), classes in all levels (public and private) are hereby suspended on November 4, 2025, to ensure the safety of learners, teachers, and school personnel.

This decision is made in coordination with the Local Chief Executive (Municipal Mayor) and in reference to DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2024, which authorizes local suspension of classes when local weather or environmental conditions pose risks to safety.

All are advised to remain vigilant, monitor official weather updates from PAGASA, and coordinate with barangay officials for any emergency concerns.
