Day 1 of OJT for our 30 MVNHS students!

Today, they had the opportunity to learn from one of the Capisaan Cave local guides, who shared valuable insights on how to properly handle guests — from giving warm welcomes to ensuring everyone’s safety and enjoyment. This hands-on experience marks the beginning of their deeper appreciation for tourism, teamwork, and the beauty of guiding others through our natural wonders. 🌄👣

Through the initiative of the association, under the leadership of President Fermin Gullunan, a training on cave guiding was conducted on June 17–19 to address the shortage of cave guides. The three-day training covered basic tour guiding, fundamental knowledge of the cave system, and a familiarization tour inside the cave.

Year 2022, pumasok para mag praktis ng guiding skills at familiarization ng route. Pumasok kami via Alayan cave entrance. Mga baguhan pa kami jan except sa dalawa. Sina Elly Pawid at Doc. Dherick Batulon, naging mentor muna daw😅 para i share nila yung mga malupitan nilang teknik sa pag ga guide. Nakalimutan na yung ibang tinuro nila🤣. Matatandaan na ipinagyayabang pa ni Elly yung kanyang poco android phone. Ang ganda daw ng kwaliti sa pictures😂.
Kung makikita niyo may man made structure na ginawa upon assessment for safety reasons dahil napaka delikado yung dating daanan jan.

We started this page with the idea of promoting our local tourism through comedy. Along the way, we realized one of the common challenges every group content creator faces—availability. Not every member is always free to join, which sometimes limits what we can produce. Because of this, we decided to take the risk and be more flexible with our content. Whether it’s comedic videos or simple clips of us interacting with visitors, the choice we make might change the entire course of our page. The Capisaan Cave Information Center remains open and welcomes everyone who wishes to visit and enjoy the area. However, starting at 8:00 PM, the center will be closed to ensure the safety of visitors and to maintain peace and order within the community.

In recent months, it has been observed that the place has become a common gathering spot, especially for young people. Unfortunately, these gatherings often result in activities such as drinking alcohol, leaving behind trash, and making loud noise that disturbs residents living nearby. While we value the youth and the sense of community, we also have a shared responsibility to keep our surroundings clean, safe, and respectful for everyone.
