✅ 1. Jesus told His followers to keep the Sabbath even after the cross
Matthew 24:20
“Pray that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day.”
⚡ Context: Prophecy ni Jesus about 70 A.D. destruction of Jerusalem, 40 years after the cross.
Meaning: Expected gihapon ni Jesus nga ang Sabbath buhi ug ginabantayan sa iyang mga disciples.

✅ 2. The disciples kept the Sabbath after the resurrection
Luke 23:56
“And they rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment.”
⚡ Context: Human na si Jesus namatay.
Ang mga disciples wala magtrabaho, wala magdawat og spices, kay nagpahulay sa Sabbath “according to the commandment.”

✅ 3. Paul kept the Sabbath as a Christian leader
Acts 17:2
“And Paul, as his custom was, went in unto them, and three Sabbath days reasoned with them out of the Scriptures.”
⚡ The word custom = habit, lifestyle.
Christian na si Paul ani — wala na siya under sa Jewish ceremonial laws, pero nag-Sabbath gihapon.

Acts 13:42–44
“The Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath…
And the next Sabbath day came almost the whole city…”

Pero wala. Padayon gihapon ang Sabbath.
