Being paradoxical is not easy.

You feel two things at once
wanting to stay and wanting to leave,
wanting to speak and choosing silence,
hoping deeply while preparing yourself for disappointment.

It’s exhausting to carry contradictions,
to explain emotions that don’t fit into simple words,
to live between what you feel
and what you think you should feel.

But maybe being paradoxical
just means you’re aware
aware that life isn’t always clear,
that hearts don’t follow logic,
that growth often comes from confusion.

It’s not easy,
but it also means you’re someone
who feels deeply, thinks deeply,
and refuses to live only on the surface.

I hope this will last forever.

Not just the feeling,
but the quiet understanding,
the way everything feels calm
when you’re part of it.

I hope time is kind to us,
that what we build doesn’t fade
with distance, with change,
or with the passing of days.

Because some things feel too right
to be temporary.

And even if forever is uncertain,
I still choose to believe
in the possibility of it
with you, with this, with us.

The Act of Service

Love, to me,
was never loud words
or grand promises.

It was in the small things
showing up when you were tired,
listening even when I had my own battles,
staying a little longer
just to make sure you were okay.

I gave not because I had to,
but because caring felt natural,
because loving you meant
making your days lighter
even when mine were heavy.

No applause.
No recognition.
Just quiet effort,
again and again.

That was my way of saying
“I’m here.”
That was my act of service.

We’re inches apart,
close enough to feel the warmth
of the same air we breathe,
close enough that silence between us
almost sounds like a conversation.

Yet I admire you from a distance.

Not because I want to be far,
but because some spaces
are not measured by steps
they’re measured by what cannot be said,
by what must remain gentle and unclaimed.

I watch the way you exist,
the way you laugh,
the way you carry light
without even trying.

And I stay where I am,
learning that sometimes
the purest form of affection
is not reaching out
but holding back.

So here I am,
only inches away,
loving quietly,
admiring endlessly,
from a distance only the heart can see.

What if?

What if things turned out differently
if timing was kinder
if words were braver
if we chose each other a little harder?

What if you stayed?
What if I asked sooner?
What if love wasn’t scared of its own depth?

But what if
the what ifs are only echoes
meant to be felt
not followed?

Maybe some questions aren’t meant for answers.
Maybe they exist
to show us how deeply we cared
how much we hoped
how human we were.

And maybe the real question isn’t what if it worked
but what if something even better is waiting
one that won’t leave you guessing?

For now
it’s okay to sit with the question.
Just don’t let it stop you
from living the answer that’s still unfolding.

Hoping that someday
things will make sense without hurting.

That the love I gave
won’t feel like a loss anymore,
but a lesson I survived with my heart intact.

Someday, I won’t look back
asking what if.
I’ll look forward
trusting that what’s meant for me
won’t need waiting, chasing, or pain.

Hope doesn’t mean I’m stuck.
It just means I still believe
life has something gentle ahead.

And until that someday comes,
I’ll keep choosing peace
one quiet step at a time.

I know I’m not the only one anymore,
and that truth hurts in a quiet way.

Not sharp, not loud
just a slow realization
that the space I once held
now belongs to someone else.

I tell myself it’s okay.
That people move on.
That hearts change.
That life doesn’t pause for anyone.

But some nights,
I still wonder
how easy it was to replace
what I guarded so carefully.

Knowing I’m not the only one
doesn’t erase what we had.
It just teaches me
that loving deeply
sometimes means being left behind.

And still,
I choose not to harden.
I choose not to regret
how sincerely I loved.

Because even if I’m not the only one now,
I was real.
I was true.
And that will always matter.

Seen but ignored.
And it hurts because it was you.

You read my message.
You chose silence.
And now I’m left staring at a screen,
wondering how something so small
can feel this heavy.

It’s not just the ignoring
it’s everything behind it.
All the times I showed up.
All the patience, the waiting,
the believing you still cared.

I replay my words,
asking myself if I said too much,
or not enough.
If I mattered at all in that moment
you decided not to reply.

What hurts most is knowing
I would’ve answered you—
no matter how busy,
no matter how tired.

And yet…
even in this silence,
my feelings were real.
My effort was real.
And being ignored
doesn’t erase that.

It just shows
who stayed,
and who chose to turn away.

Your mind wanted to protect you,
to stop the hurt,
to finally rest.
Your heart just wanted to stay loyal
to what once felt true.

Continuing doesn’t have to mean
hurting yourself for someone else.
It can mean carrying the love
without losing yourself to it.
Honoring what you felt
while still choosing your own well-being.

You can let your heart remember
and still let your mind guide you forward.
Those two don’t have to be enemies.

If you continue,
let it be because you’re strong,
not because you’re punishing yourself with hope.

And if one day you choose to stop,
that won’t mean you loved less—
it will mean you finally loved yourself too.

I believe you.

Not the loud, reckless kind of fight—
but the quiet one.
The kind where you keep going
even when you’re tired,
even when no one’s watching.

Fighting looks like choosing yourself.
Like getting up again.
Like not letting pain decide
how your story ends.

You don’t have to win every day.
You just have to stay.

And if there are moments
when the fight feels heavy,
remember this:
asking for rest isn’t giving up,
and asking for help is still fighting.

You’re not weak for struggling.
You’re strong for continuing.

I’m here.
Keep fighting.
