July 29, 2025, EOD/K9 personnel of Cotabato Provincial Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit led by PMSg Dennis M Dorado, EOD Technician under the supervision of PCPT JERRY PONS L PANAGUE. Team Leader Cotabato PECU conducted preventive mobile patrols in major thoroughfares of Brgy. Poblacion, Kidapawan City, North Cotabato. The said activity was conducted to ensure public safety and maintain peace and order and pre-empt any explosive related incidents (ExRI) within area of our responsibility.

"We Ensure Safety".

At about 7:30 in the morning of July 29, 2025, Cellphone call received by the EOD Technician of Cotabato PECU from PSMS Rodel C Vitudio of Arakan MPS MPS, requesting EOD assistance. An Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) was found at Sitio Valencia, Purok 1, Brgy. Sto. Niño, Arakan, Cotabato.

Immediately, Explosive Incident Response Team (EIRT) of Cotabato PECU – Kidapawan Base led by PMSg Dennis M Dorado, EOD Technician under the supervision of PCPT JERRY PONS L PANAGUE, Team Leader proceeded at Arakan MPS, Brgy. Poblacion, Arakan, North Cotabato. Upon arrival, EIRT conducted coordination and briefing together with the personnel of Arakan MPS led by PMAJ REYNANTE C PASCUA, COP, Arakan MPS. After the coordination and briefing, EIRT of Cotabato PECU together with the personnel of Arakan MPS proceeded at Sitio Valencia, Purok 1, Brgy. Sto. Niño, Arakan, Cotabato.

Upon arrival at Sitio Valencia, Purok 1, Brgy. Sto. Niño, Arakan, Cotabato, EIRT conducted paneling operation for any possible hazardous explosive materials around the vicinity while the Arakan MPS personnel led by PMAJ PASCUA secured the perimeter. Thereafter, EIRT personnel of this unit conducted assessment and identification of the found unexploded explosive ordnance (UXO). The said UXO was found and described as one (1) 40 mm, projectile, HE (fired). The condition of the said UXO was unsafe to store in the explosive makeshift/storage facility of this office due to its condition. Due to the hazard posed by the said UXO, responding EIRT initiated Render Safe Procedure (RSP) through Blast-In-Place (BIP) utilizing the electric priming system. At about 11:00 o’clock in the morning of same date, the disposal operation ended, and EIRT personnel departed from the area and proceeded at CPECU Office, Poblacion, Kidapawan City.

Shock and Awe Operation (Police Presence).

July 27, 2025. EOD\K9 personnel of Cotabato Provincial Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit led by PMSg Dennis M Dorado under the supervision of PCPT JERRY PONS L PANAGUE, Team Leader together with the personnel of Kidapawan CPS conducted Target Hardening Measures through police presence operation at Kidapawan City Integrated Terminal, Brgy. Poblacion, Kidapawan City, North Cotabato. The said activity was conducted to ensure public safety and maintain peace and order and pre-empt any explosive related incidents (ExRI).

Security Coordination/Collaboration.

July 27, 2025. EOD/K9 personnel of Cotabato Provincial Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit led by PMSg Dennia M Dorado, EOD Technician under the supervision of PCPT JERRY PONS L PANAGUE, Team Leader/EOD Technician conducted Security briefing, collaboration and coordination to the personnel of Kidapawan City K9 Unit held at the Overland Integrated Terminal, Brgy. Pobalcion, Kidapawan City. The said activity was conducted to synchronize the security measures of security forces within the area of our responsibility.

July 27, 2025. EOD\K9 personnel of Cotabato Provincial Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit led by PMSg Dennis M Dorado under the supervision of PCPT JERRY PONS L PANAGUE, Team Leader conducted Target Hardening Measures through paneling and foot patrol operation at Kidapawan City Integrated Transport Station, Brgy. Poblacion, Kidapawan. This activity was conducted as part of the proactive security measure initiated by this unit, to sanitize the vicinity of said area to be free from any hazardous materials for the safety of the community.

IEC Distribution of Gender Awareness, and Bomb Joke Law leaflets.

July 27, 2025. EOD/K9 personnel of Cotabato Provincial Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit-Kidapawan led by PMSg Dennis M dorado, EOD Technician under the supervision of PCPT JERRY PONS L PANAGUE, Team Leader/EOD Tech conducted dialogue and distribution thirty (30) IEC materials on Bomb Awareness in relation to E.O 70, Bomb Joke Law, Gender Awareness held at the Our Lady of Mediatrix of all Graces Cathedral, Quezon Boulevard, Brgy. Poblacion, Kidapawan City, North Cotabato Province. The said activity was conducted to promote Government plans and programs on Gender Awareness, E.O 70, P.D decree number 1727 or Bomb Joke Law and to prevent any explosive related incident in the province of North Cotabato.

Poblacion, Kidapawan City in relation to the Holy Eucharist. This activity is a proactive security measure to ensure the safety of the general public and Catholic devotees and to prevent the lawless element from committing any crimes and atrocities.

This activity was conducted as part of the proactive security measure initiated by this unit, to sanitize the vicinity of said place to be free from any hazardous materials for the safety of the community.

EOD/K9 personnel of Cotabato Provincial Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit led by PCMS Owen Jake C Casem, EOD Technician under the supervision of PCMS Rodel C Ajero, Team Leader/EOD Technician together with the personnel of Kidapawan CPS assisted the COMELEC Checkpoint operation together with the personnel of Task Force Kidapawan Control Point at held at Barangay Poblacion, Kidapawan City, North Cotabato in relation to Summer Vacation (Ligtas SUMVAC); Holy Week Celebration and upcoming 2025 National and Local Elections and BARMM Parliamentary Elections. The said activity was part of the target hardening measure to ensure peace and order in Kidapawan City, North Cotabato.
