Kidapawan Doctors College, Inc. (KDCI) reaffirmed its commitment to delivering globally competitive education by holding a Discussion Meeting on Internationalization and Global Rankings on September 18, 2025, at the KDCI Main Campus.

The discussion proper featured two key presentations from Mr. Janreve M. Odango, the Project Technician Staff III for Transnational Higher Education, who highlighted the importance of internalization for educational institutions to thrive and become globally competitive. Mr. Odango also shared strategies for the institution to execute the CHED IZN Framework. This was followed by a video presentation delivered by the Commission on Higher Education Region XII (CHED RO XII), Mr. Danstone Guy P. Dayaday, the Education Supervisor II and Internationalization (IZN) Focal, who tackled critical insights on internationalization efforts in higher education institutions. Mr. Dayaday also opened discussions on the possibility of the institution collaborating with professors around the world specifically in the Southeast Asia region through the CHED IZN Framework.

After Mr. Dayaday’s presentation, Mr. Odango underscored the importance of strengthening the competitiveness of educational institutions in global rankings. He encouraged and challenged the institution to exert greater effort toward achieving international recognition and deliberated and brainstormed strategies with the KDCI academic heads to establish its standing. The discussion meeting concluded with a reaffirmed commitment to advancing internationalization and fostering global competitiveness in education.

The aims and objectives of the meeting were for the representatives of CHED RO XII to disseminate information on strategies to strengthen partnerships with educational institutions abroad. The meeting likewise sought to identify approaches and action plans that will position KDCI as a globally competitive institution in the international higher education rankings. This initiative reflects the college’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence, international collaboration, and the pursuit of global standards in education.

The feast of the Nativity serves as a reminder of hope and renewal, providing an opportunity to reflect on one’s faith and commitment to God.

The festival highlights colorful street dances, cultural performances, and community gatherings that honor the province’s diverse heritage and enduring spirit.

Kalivungan, which means “gathering” in the Manobo language, serves as a reminder of Cotabato’s rich history and the resilience of its people, bringing together communities to celebrate shared identity and progress.

Three students from Kidapawan Doctors College, Inc. bag 4th place in the recent ASEAN Youth Forum held at University of Southern Mindanao - Kabacan Campus last August 29, 2025.

Out of 14 Higher Educational Institutions who competed, Noahlyn Lamban (BS Psychology), Precious Nicky Failma (BS Psychology), and Daniel Davil Rey Herbilla (BS Nursing) emerged 4th place in the said forum.

The said forum was part of the IZN and TNHE Caravan and the 58th ASEAN Month Culmination.

The said event aimed to bring together young leaders to address pressing regional challenges through volunteerism, innovation, and solidarity.

ANNOUNCEMENT

The Local Government Unit of Kidapawan City announced that there will be no class tomorrow, August 27, 2025, due to Low pressure area (LPA) and the threat of moderate to heavy rains, thus, classes will be reverted to asynchronous. However, those with scheduled activities and events like examinations are EXCLUDED.

Hence, only the Senior High School shall follow the suspension tomorrow and College Prelim Examination shall continue as scheduled.
