ka matngon sa kahapunon.
"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God."
This comes from the Bible, found in Matthew 19:24, Mark 10:25, and Luke 18:25.
This does not mean that rich people cannot be saved. Instead, Jesus is giving a serious warning:
- Wealth can easily become an obstacle β it can distance a person from God, make them trust in money rather than in the Lord, and reduce their willingness to be kind and help others.
- In our own strength, this is impossible. But "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26) β if a person surrenders to Him and does not cling tightly to their riches.
Being rich is not wrong in itself; what matters is loving wealth more than God. True treasure is found in your relationship with Him.
