Sa araw ng aking kaarawan, buong puso akong nagpapasalamat sa Panginoon sa panibagong taon ng buhay, sa kalusugan, lakas, mga biyaya, at sa lahat ng pagsubok na nagturo sa akin na maging mas matatag.

Hindi man perpekto ang aking paglalakbay, patuloy Mong ipinapakita na hindi Mo ako pinababayaan. 🙏 Sa bawat tagumpay, kabiguan, luha at saya, Ikaw ang aking sandigan.

Maraming salamat, Panginoon, sa buhay na ipinagkaloob Mo sa akin. Ang tanging hiling ko ay patuloy Mo akong gabayan, bigyan ng malakas na pangangatawan, mapayapang puso, at pusong laging marunong magpasalamat.

TAMBALIHAN: THE LIZARD GUARDIAN

Inspired by the Tambalihan, the lizard becomes a folkloric symbol of the quiet guardians of Tupi’s forests, adaptable, resilient, alert, and deeply connected to nature.

The costume is crafted primarily from rubber and beads, transforming unconventional materials into a sculptural interpretation of the Tambalihan. Rubber is shaped and layered to imitate its scales, skin texture, and natural body structure, forming flexible armor across the hood, body, arms, legs, hands, and feet.

Ultimately, Tambalihan is a tribute to the often-unseen protectors of the natural world. Like the Tambalihan, a true guardian does not need to be loud to be powerful; it simply watches, adapts, survives, and protects. This creation reminds us that every creature has a vital role in guarding the forest and sustaining life.
