Today, Koronadal City lost a father. We mourn the passing of our Mayor, Atty. Eliordo "Bebot" Usero Ogena.
Atty. Bebot dedicated decades of his life to public service. From his early days as a Provincial Board Member to his three consecutive terms as a beloved Vice Governor, he always put the people first. When he returned to serve as Mayor of Koronadal City, he brought with him a vision of modernization and true "people empowerment." He made our streets safer with the Korona-911 emergency response, fiercely advocated for the youth by establishing the city's Council for Mental Health, and ensured no one was left behind by connecting our indigenous communities to the rest of the world.
But beyond the titles, the infrastructure, and the policies, we will remember the man. Bebot was a leader who never stayed confined to his office. He walked our streets, celebrated at our weddings, and stood by our sides during our times of grief. Through every political challenge and legal battle he faced, his dedication to the everyday Koronadaleño never wavered.
Rest in peace, Atty. Bebot Ogena. Thank you for a lifetime of service. Your legacy will forever remain in the heart of the city you loved so deeply. 🕊️🏛️💚
