“𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴,” emphasized by 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙙, 𝘚𝘒 𝘍𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘮 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘒𝘰𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘭, during the 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 and 𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗦 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗞 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 held today, August 15, 2025, at the South Cotabato Gymnasium and Cultural Center. In this event, newly elected youth leaders formally took their oath of service.
Elected last June 9, 2025, during the second quarterly meeting of the 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙆𝙤𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙡 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡 (𝘾𝙆𝙔𝘿𝘾), 𝙒𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙡 𝙁. 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙤 representing 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙙 of 𝙆𝙤𝙧𝙗𝙚𝙡 𝙁𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚, 𝙄𝙣𝙘. officially assumed his role as 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙮 and as 𝙖 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙆𝙔𝘿𝘾 through today’s ceremonial oath-taking.
A 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘳 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭 (𝘚𝘚𝘊) 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 and the 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘌𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘰𝘳-𝘪𝘯-𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘧 𝘰𝘧 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘩𝘦𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘥, Samillano is recognized for his leadership in both governance and campus journalism. His tenure is expected to amplify the council’s inclusive programs for marginalized and underrepresented youth sectors in the City of Koronadal.
The CKYDC works closely with the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗟𝗬𝗗𝗢) and the 𝗦𝗞 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to align youth-centered initiatives with community needs. Today’s event also honored the outstanding SK Barangay through the GEMS for SK Awards.
