He didn’t do it for fame. He did it because every life deserves a chance.

When Simon Cowell donated over $32,000 to shut down a dog meat farm in South Korea, he didn’t just give money - he gave hope. More than 200 dogs trapped in cages were rescued and given the chance to live freely for the first time.

These dogs had spent their lives in fear, locked away and waiting for a cruel fate. Thanks to Simon’s kindness and Humane Society International (HSI), they were flown to the U.S., U.K., Canada, and the Netherlands to find loving homes.

Wendy Higgins from HSI said Simon’s support inspired people across South Korea to speak out. “When they heard what he did, it gave them hope and courage to fight cruelty,” she shared.

Simon has always been a voice for the voiceless, from fighting puppy mills to helping shut down dog meat farms. His compassion proves that real change starts with empathy and action.

Every rescued bark, every wagging tail, is a reminder that kindness can travel across oceans and save lives.
