Part 2/2 | NDSSM United Nations Celebration 2025 ๐ŸŒ
Under the radiant theme โ€œOne World, Many Voices: Celebrating Peace, Culture, and Unity in Diversity,โ€ NDSSM painted the campus in colors of the world last November 7, 2025. The halls came alive with the rhythm of global harmony as students proudly represented nations near and far โ€” each step, smile, and song echoing a message of unity.

From shining national costumes to heartwarming cultural performances, every moment told a story โ€” a story of peace, pride, and the beauty of being different yet connected. The stage became a bridge that linked continents and cultures, showing that diversity isnโ€™t something that divides us, but something that makes our world brighter.

Laughter, music, and applause filled the air as NDSSM celebrated the essence of humanity โ€” love, understanding, and respect beyond borders. The event reminded everyone that though our voices speak in many tongues, our hearts beat with one rhythm: the rhythm of unity.

โœจ One world. Many voices. Infinite harmony. Together, we stand for peace. โœจ

The Notre Dame-Siena School of Marbel joyfully held its 36th Family Rosary Crusade from October 1 to 10, 2025, guided by the theme, โ€œWith Mary, the NDSSM Family Journeys as Pilgrims of Faith, Hope, and Love.โ€ This annual tradition brought together pupils, students, families, advisers, personnel, and the entire NDSSM community in ten grace-filled days of prayer, reflection, and thanksgiving to God through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Each day was prayerfully led by a different grade level, with families and advisers offering the Holy Rosary and participating in the Novena Masses. From our senior high school students to our youngest learners in Kinder, every group served with devotion and faith, uniting the school in a powerful expression of community and love for the Holy Rosary.

The daily Gospel readings and homilies invited us to deepen our Christian discipleship. We were reminded of Jesusโ€™ call to follow Him wholeheartedly, to live with humility like children, to trust in Godโ€™s grace, and to show mercy as the Good Samaritan did. We reflected on the importance of prayer, listening to Godโ€™s Word, and persevering in faith, knowing that every prayer offered with love draws us closer to Christ.

Special celebrations enriched this yearโ€™s crusade. On Day 4, we commemorated the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, whose life of humility and joy continues to inspire us. After the Mass, the Blessing of Pets reminded us of our shared responsibility to care for all of Godโ€™s creation. The gentle faith of our young pupils became a testimony to the beauty of simple, trusting belief.

On Day 10, the culmination of the Family Rosary Crusade coincided with the Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of La Naval, a day filled with deep Marian devotion. The NDSSM community offered a Living Rosary, followed by a Eucharistic celebration and a motorcade-procession through town, honoring Mary and entrusting to her our petitions, gratitude, and prayers for peace and protection.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our presiding priestsโ€”Rev. Fr. Francis Bryan G. Deita, Rev. Fr. Reil M. Posas, Rev. Fr. Charneil D. Laparan, and Rev. Fr. Job M. Abo-Aboโ€”for their spiritual guidance throughout the novena. We also thank the Dominican Sisters, Family Council Executive Board, LMAMFES, school personnel, committees, and all families and students who participated and contributed to the success of this meaningful event.

As we bring the 36th Family Rosary Crusade to a close, we give all glory to God and express our love and gratitude to the Blessed Mother, who continues to guide and protect the NDSSM family. May the seeds of faith, hope, and love planted in these ten days continue to grow in our hearts, bearing fruit in our daily lives as we walk together as one family in the footsteps of Christ.

Prayer is more than a routine or a task to complete. It is our lifeline โ€” a sacred moment to connect with God, to speak from the heart, and to listen to His gentle voice. Through prayer, we draw closer to Him, find strength in our struggles, and discover peace that the world cannot give.

God reminds us today that the Lordโ€™s Prayer is more than words we memorize โ€” itโ€™s a way of life. May every โ€˜Our Fatherโ€™ we pray come from the heart and lead us to live with faith, love, and forgiveness.

Today, as we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, we are reminded that the Holy Rosary is more than a repetition of prayers โ€” it is a journey of faith and love. Through each bead, we encounter Maryโ€™s gentle presence and motherly care, leading us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

Todayโ€™s reminder: kindness matters. It opens our hearts to the silent struggles of others and teaches us that compassion is far greater than convenience โ€” and embracing others is stronger than merely feeling for them.

Yesterdayโ€™s Gospel reminded us that faith is like a mustard seed โ€” it may start small, but it grows when placed in Godโ€™s hands. We donโ€™t need to have everything figured out; we just need to begin with what little we have and let God do the rest.

The life of St. Francis of Assisi teaches us that true joy is found in simplicity, humility, and love. May his example inspire us to live the Gospel each day and remember that our greatest treasure is Christ Himself.
