The Notre Dame-Siena School of Marbel joyfully held its 36th Family Rosary Crusade from October 1 to 10, 2025, guided by the theme, โWith Mary, the NDSSM Family Journeys as Pilgrims of Faith, Hope, and Love.โ This annual tradition brought together pupils, students, families, advisers, personnel, and the entire NDSSM community in ten grace-filled days of prayer, reflection, and thanksgiving to God through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Each day was prayerfully led by a different grade level, with families and advisers offering the Holy Rosary and participating in the Novena Masses. From our senior high school students to our youngest learners in Kinder, every group served with devotion and faith, uniting the school in a powerful expression of community and love for the Holy Rosary.
The daily Gospel readings and homilies invited us to deepen our Christian discipleship. We were reminded of Jesusโ call to follow Him wholeheartedly, to live with humility like children, to trust in Godโs grace, and to show mercy as the Good Samaritan did. We reflected on the importance of prayer, listening to Godโs Word, and persevering in faith, knowing that every prayer offered with love draws us closer to Christ.
Special celebrations enriched this yearโs crusade. On Day 4, we commemorated the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, whose life of humility and joy continues to inspire us. After the Mass, the Blessing of Pets reminded us of our shared responsibility to care for all of Godโs creation. The gentle faith of our young pupils became a testimony to the beauty of simple, trusting belief.
On Day 10, the culmination of the Family Rosary Crusade coincided with the Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of La Naval, a day filled with deep Marian devotion. The NDSSM community offered a Living Rosary, followed by a Eucharistic celebration and a motorcade-procession through town, honoring Mary and entrusting to her our petitions, gratitude, and prayers for peace and protection.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our presiding priestsโRev. Fr. Francis Bryan G. Deita, Rev. Fr. Reil M. Posas, Rev. Fr. Charneil D. Laparan, and Rev. Fr. Job M. Abo-Aboโfor their spiritual guidance throughout the novena. We also thank the Dominican Sisters, Family Council Executive Board, LMAMFES, school personnel, committees, and all families and students who participated and contributed to the success of this meaningful event.
As we bring the 36th Family Rosary Crusade to a close, we give all glory to God and express our love and gratitude to the Blessed Mother, who continues to guide and protect the NDSSM family. May the seeds of faith, hope, and love planted in these ten days continue to grow in our hearts, bearing fruit in our daily lives as we walk together as one family in the footsteps of Christ.
