STO. NIÑO, South Cotabato- Pinaghahanap ngayon ang pamilya at mga otoridad ang 13-anyos na si Precious Kate S. Patrona, taga Purok Libertad, Barangay Poblacion, matapos na hindi na siya umuwi mula noong gabi ng Agosto 9, 2025.

Huling nakita si Patrona bandang alas-10:30 ng gabi sa kanilang lugar na nakasuot ng puting damit, itim na pantalon at itim na crocs.

Nanawagan ang pamilya sa sinumang may impormasyon sa kinaroroonan ng dalagita na makipag-ugnayan sa kanila sa mga numerong 0935-002-8207, 0965-159-3840 o sa hotline number na 0907-309-7934.

LOOK: Gov. Tamayo kinondena ang pagpatay sa Vice Mayor ng Ibajay, Aklan

SOUTH COTABATO- Mariing kinondena ni South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., na siya ring presidente ng Partido Federal ng Pilipinas o PFP at League of Provinces of the Philippines o LPP, ang pagpatay kay Ibajay, Aklan Vice Mayor Julio Estrolloso, na isinagawa ng isang councilor.

Ayon kay Tamayo, ang ganitong uri ng karahasan ay walang puwang sa pampublikong serbisyo at sa lipunang kumikilala sa rule of law.

Aniya, ang mga lider ay dapat maging huwaran ng respeto, dayalogo at mapayapang paglutas ng hindi pagkakaunawaan, at hindi ng agresyon o pagkakawatak-watak.

Nagpaabot din siya ng pakikiramay sa pamilya ng biktima at sa mga mamamayan ng Ibajay.

Nanawagan si Tamayo sa mga awtoridad na magsagawa ng mabilis at patas na imbestigasyon upang matiyak na makakamit ang hustisya.

Si Vice Mayor Estrolloso ay kasapi ng Partido Federal ng Pilipinas.

LOOK: DSWD 12, naghatid ng karagdagang relief supplies sa Kalamansig, SulKud

Nagpadala ang Department of Social Welfare and Development o DSWD 12 ng kabuuang 3,000 Family Food Packs o FFPs sa bayan ng Kalamansig upang palitan ang stockpile ng lokal na pamahalaan bilang paghahanda sa posibleng sakuna.

Ang mga FFP ay inihatid mula sa DSWD warehouse sa Barangay Morales, Koronadal City, South Cotabato at maayos na naipasa sa lokal na pamahalaan.

Personal itong sinuri ni Mayor Ronan Eugene C. Garcia upang tiyakin ang kalidad at kahandaan ng mga relief goods para sa agarang distribusyon kung kinakailangan.

Patuloy ang DSWD 12 sa pakikipagtulungan sa mga LGU upang palakasin ang kahandaan sa sakuna, at bigyang-prayoridad ang kaligtasan at kapakanan ng bawat Pilipino sa panahon ng krisis.

Tuluyang naaresto ng Tantangan PNP ang isang tricycle driver matapos nakita ng ilang concerned citizens na humihithit umano ng ilegal na droga sa Public Cemetery sa Purok Salukag, Brgy. Poblacion, Tantangan, South Cotabato kamakailan.

Kinilala ang suspek na si alyas Macky, 44 anyos, at residente ng nasabing barangay.

Nakuha sa posesyon nito ang sachet ng pinaniniwalaang shabu at drug paraphernalia, at dagdag na sachet ng ilegal na droga sa loob ng pouch nito.

Nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Section 11 at 12, Article II ng RA 9165 ang kinakaharap ng suspek habang nasa kustodiya ng Tantangan PNP.

LOOK: P13.2M na halaga ng fertilizer vouchers, ipinamigay sa mga magsasaka ng Koronadal

Mahigit 2,000 magsasaka sa Lungsod ng Koronadal ang nakinabang sa libreng fertilizer vouchers na ipinamahagi ng City Agriculture’s Office katuwang ang Department of Agriculture o DA 12.

Ayon kay City Agriculturist Engr. Reynold Biñas, bawat benepisyaryo ay tumanggap ng vouchers na nagkakahalaga ng P3,400 kada ektarya ng kanilang sinasaka. Umabot sa P13.2 milyon ang kabuuang halaga ng mga ipinamigay na vouchers.

Layunin ng programa na mapababa ang gastusin ng mga magsasaka sa paghahanda ng lupa at mapalakas ang produksyon ng agrikultura sa lungsod.

Radyo Bida Koronadal celebrates foundation with poor IP school children KORONADAL CITY – School children from Indigenous Peoples Community in Barangay Saravia here had their early Christmas gifts in a form of school supplies, medicine and books from DXOM-AM Radyo Bida and its partners. Celebrating its 4th foundation anniversary on December 7, Radyo Bida distributed medicine, vitamins, school supplies and books to pupils of Dungan Lahek Elementary School in Sitio Dungan Lahek, Barangay Saravia, Koronadal City. “We are so thankful that our school was chosen by your company,” Ms. Janette Pran, school head, said. “Our pupils are visibly happy and glad you came over along with your magician who really entertained them.” “This day will be treasured not only by our children but also their parents and people who were served by your program and your station,” Pran said after receiving the book donations. Dr. Virgilio Adalin, city dentist, also conducted dental extraction to 30 tribal residents of Sitio Dungan Lahek. Medical consultation was also conducted to 40 individuals. “It is nice to help because in the community people need helping hand to make their life easy, I am happy I am part of your team that gave happiness to these children and their parents,” Dr. Adalin said. All of them get free medical check-up and received vitamins courtesy of Laforteza Pharmacy. The Pharmacy also gave free toothbrushes with toothpaste to more than 120 school children. The outreach program was successful with the help of Koronadal City Mayor Peter Miguel, City Population Office, students of Notre Dame of Marbel University Master in Public Administration students, Leticia Bulotano Wheeler Foundation, Mt. Zion Travel and Tours and Fr. Rogelio Tabuada, OMI, chief executive officer of Notre Dame Broadcasting Corporation (NDBC). About 200 assorted books were donated by the foundation to the IP students coursed through Radyo Bida. DXOM-AM Radyo Bida, broadcasting with a power of 10,0000 watts, is the sixth radio station of NDBC and its studio is located in GenSan Drive, Barangay Morales, Koronadal City. (Karl Mike Tabingo)
