This study assessed gender related issues and evaluated the effectiveness of gender responsive programs in selected schools. The research examined Gender and Development mainstreaming across people, policies, and programs using mixed methods analysis.

Entry Point 1 People showed strong gender inclusive efforts with a Strong Evident rating.
Policies and Programs Activities and Projects showed an Evident level, indicating the need for stronger gender responsive implementation.
Gender related issues were rated Low but qualitative results revealed experiences of discrimination and exclusion among LGBTQIA plus students.
Spearman Rho showed a moderate positive correlation between gender mainstreaming and gender related issues.

The study recommends revitalizing gender mainstreaming programs to strengthen policies, improve inclusive practices, and provide safe learning spaces for all students.
