Merienda Buffet (Unlimited)

Sitio Ma-e, Lower Tomay, Brgy. Bahong, La Trinidad

348 pesos per head / 2-5pm / Sat. - Sun.

Food
1) Meat
Fried Chicken
- not normal seasoning! Flavorful!
- 1st serving is the best.. 2nd serving became chicken SKIN only!

Tofu with pork (cube size)
- normal taste, not crispy, it was like a side dish.

Kini-ing Lumpia
- taste good but not crunchy anymore.
- cannot determine if there was meat or vegan/veggies.
- nope, not kini-ing. Did not taste any kini-ing.

Siomai
- same with the ones sold by everyone.

Beef mami
- did not try. It is not a good combination with all the dishes provided.

2) Pancit and Pasta (1 dish each)
- Pancit was a bit salty. Eat a little only.
- Pasta was normal, like a family made dish.

3) Pastry
PIZZA
- the best one! toasted bottom, soft and superb sauces!

Brownies
- Eat as many as you like! not too sweet, just perfect.

Drip sized pancake
- what? small thin circle pancakes with choco syrup.
- Not to waste the leftover ingredients, maybe.

Chocolate Cupcakes
- "bitter from too much baking soda" napait.

Maja Blanca
- same with home cooked maja.

Palitaw
- Okay.

4) Drinks
- 1 Powdered flavor drink (sakto naman, hindi matamlay)
- cold water
- Brewed Coffee (creamer and sugar provided)

5) Sushi (1 type only)
Kimbap?
- rice was a failure. It was like eating a "diket".
- the nori was too hard (Too many rolls?).

6) Others
- Vegetable salads
- Sliced fruits (watermelon and honey dew only)
- Soups

Venue
- Definitely for business meetings. Elegant, not too noisy and smelly.
- Good service by the staffs.
- Spacious and clean.

Cons/Suggestions
1) What happened to COLD merienda?
- no halo halo, ice cream, buko pandan, etc.

2) Filipino merienda?
- Even with all the choices, there was the feeling of something was "missing".

3) Serving
- First serving the best! then the refill, the standard went down.

Note: No rice. Ada inmuneg nga lalakay ket dyay rice bir2uken da. Rinumwar da ta awan ti rice.

Oh diba!! mabalin agaramid ti mayat nga haan nga overpriced... gapos ta nalaka, ad2o pay naiwarasan ken nakinabang..Righ...

Right price, right quality ✅ = ado pay nakinabang/naikkan ✅
Kickback/SOP/Overpriced ❌ = low quality, selected nga tao pay nakinabang/naikkan ❌
