The Local Government Unit (LGU) of La Trinidad is actively conducting a thorough verification process regarding the circulating reports of a suspected MPOX case within our municipality.

As of this official statement, there are NO CONFIRMED CASES of MPOX originating from La Trinidad. This has been directly verified with the Municipal Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (MESU), Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PESU) and Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (RESU). We are in close coordination with the concerned agencies for immediate clarification and comprehensive verification.

The LGU strongly encourages the public to continue practicing essential health and safety protocols to protect themselves and the community. These include:

* Frequent and thorough handwashing
* Regular hand sanitation using 70% alcohol
* Boosting your immune system by consuming nutritious foods

We commit to providing a timely update to the public as soon as we receive official results or confirmation from the appropriate health authorities. We also urge the public to always verify news and keep updated on our OFFICIAL PAGES.

Stay safe, our dear kakailyan. God bless.
