Jer.44:1-28 this is about God warning His people to repent of their idolatry but then the people decided to continue offering sacrifice to their god- the queen of heaven. God said go ahead, do what you promised, keep your vows (to burn incense to the queen of heaven). He said only a few of them will escape from the sword then the whole remnant of Judah who came to live in Egypt will know whose word will stand- His or theirs.

God gave you his words. He's warning, guiding and teaching you in many ways. But if you choose your way despite the warnings, you'll find yourself one day sorry and acknowledging that Gods counsel is right, and His words stand forever. Today when you hear Him, do not harden your heart. Listen. Obey.
