Transforming the campus into a vibrant display of global culture and collaboration, the event featured the Parade of Nations. Each college proudly stepped out, representing their assigned country with imaginative costumes, powerful symbolic props, and incredibly energetic performances. Every college brought their A-game, more than just entertaining, the parade was a genuine reflection of the teamwork, dedication, and deep pride shared by every participant.
Energy and teamwork took center stage during the Pasikatan 2025 segment, where each college delivered stunning performances that were a masterclass in artistry and collaboration. Representing the Middle East, the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) captivated the entire audience. With a blend of elegance and strength, it embodied the theme of unity. Their preparation and ex*****on demonstrated passion and teamwork. All that effort paid off with CVM proudly walking away with the Emblem of Unity Award, a recognition that celebrated not just their artistic presentation, but their genuine bond as one CVM family.
Mr. and Ms. United Nations (MMUN) further drove home the themes of global awareness and compassion. Ms. Laine Adrien Garcia, representing the College of Veterinary Medicine spoke with sincerity and purpose, delivering a message that resonated deeply: โWe should all be united and compassionate instead of living in our differences. Realize we live on one planet and share one goal, one responsibility.โ It was a powerful reminder that peace and progress truly start with empathy, cooperation, and a shared responsibility toward one another.
Meanwhile, Mr. Froilan Den Javier, also representing the college, delivered an equally impactful message about the transformative power of education. He stated, โEducation is a key and opens doors to opportunities... education stops hate and violence because it promotes empowerment in each and every one of us.โ Education is so much more than just books and classrooms; it actively shapes our understanding, inspires confidence, and builds crucial bridges among people from every background.
As the MMUN pageant wrapped up, the celebration took a lively turn with the much-awaited variety show, filling the venue with laughter, music, and emotion. The stage became a space for creativity and expression as students showcased drama, folk dances, and musical performances from around the world.
Each act brought a unique story, blending entertainment with cultural pride. The cheers and applause echoed throughout, creating an atmosphere of joy and connection that truly embodied the spirit of the United Nations.
Ultimately, BSUโs UN Day 2025 was more than a cultural showcase, it was a celebration of unity through diversity. Every dance, every costume, every word spoken on stage reminded everyone that differences are not barriers, but bridges that connect us. The College of Veterinary Medicine reflected this spirit, showing teamwork, compassion, and dedication to making a positive impact.
