1st of October! Hong Kong National day.
My 4th 5th times n yata dito.
An escape away from the city and away from internet connection 😆.
an Hour ferry ride ,
high humidity during summer
and perfect place to go this month when the wind is cooler. Aside from strong wind that will cause your hair to be tangled, nothing will stop you to visit this island and take countless picture! ( like we did🙈)
Take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints and please take your garbage with you 😆.

to reach Tung Ping chau,
ride the mtr to university station. Exit at exit B and walk to Mau li shiu pier to ride the ferry for about 10-15 min or ride the taxi if you want.
Don't be confused which ferry to ride because same pier is for the ferry going to Tap mun island. make sure to ride the ferry from your rite side.
100 hkd back and forth ticket.
the ferry will depart at exactly 9 am so be there to queue for the line before 9. the ferry will return to mainland 5- 5:30pm.
No internet connection or mobile reception in the area!!!
There is a place you can buy drinks. food to order too.
Bring mosquito repellent. and sunscreen.

Tung Ping Chau! (Chinese: 東平洲) is an island in Hong Kong, part of Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark. It is also known as Ping Chau (平洲). Tung (東, meaning east) is prepended to the name at times so as to avoid possible confusion with Peng Chau, another island in Hong Kong with an identically pronounced name in Cantonese. once upon a time again in Macau
walking in the streets of Macau "the Las Vegas of Asia" and exploring historical sites to entering luxurious Hotel lobby and grabbing free milk tea in a Casino 😄. To exit Hong Kong is the main reason we went haha. what a day
