Warning to our motorist barangay Lawig!
PNP Lamut visited our barangay for the implementation of the
RA10054 KNOWN as the motorcycle helmet act of 2009,is the law that mandates all motorcycles riders to wear standard protective helmet. All motorcycle riders, including drivers and back riders, shall at all times wear standard protective motorcycle helmets while driving, whether long or short drives, in any type of road and highway.

COvid Update: To all barangay chief executives of the Municipality of Lamut.

This is an order mandating all barangay chief executives of Lamut to assess the necessity of a localize lockdown in any of your particular purok or sitio if a resident therein is affected by covid 19, and in any case, the entire barangay, if 2 or more are affected with covid 19.

Any Barangay Chief Executives of the municipality Lamut in his/her assesment MAY declare a localize lockdown for a period of time in their respective barangays provided a written notice of request together with your executive order stating the facts of the declaration of localize lockdown in a particular purok,sitio or the entire barangay.

The contents of the Barangay Executive Order shall be the following;
1.The affected purok or sitio .
2.The number and names of the affected individuals within the purok,sitio or barangay.
3.The period of lockdown, with a maximum period of five(5) days. Any extention must be made in writing for the approval of the MIATF.

The BLGU is authorized to imposed the necessary actions in order to restrict the entry and exit of residents in the affected area. All activities in the aforesaid area is hereby automatically suspended.

The MPS of Lamut upon notice shall immediately extend their assistance to aid the BLGU in the implementation of the localized lockdown.

A student from our barangay, Mr. Christian Karl Rosana posted a tarpaulin together with the Kagawad on Duty Amalia Celestino as his requirement for his NSTP "Campaign on Mental Health Drive Project"at University of the Cordilleras. Lamut Covid 19 update:

These are the salient points of our Executive Order pertaining to the declaration of our region(CAR) under General Community Quarantine(GCQ).

The LGU of Lamut adheres to the general GCQ guidelines as provided for by our National IATF with some modifications being allowed by the aforesaid guidelines in consonance to the general guidelines of the EO of the provincial government. So we reiterate the same:

1. The movement of persons shall be limitted to accessing essential goods and services and for work in permitted industries or offices; MOVEMENT FOR LEISURE PURPOSES SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED;

2. Persons below 15 years old and 65 years old and above, including those with immunodeficiency, comorbidity and other health risks, and pregnant women are required to stay at home except when extremely necessary to go out;

3.Mass gatherings such as but not limitted to movie screening, concerts, sporting events, and other entertainment activities, community assemblies, and non-essential work gatherings are prohibited; and

4.Religious gatherings, limited to conduct of religious worship and/or service, shall be allowed up to 30% of the seating capacity provided that minimum public health standards, particularly social distancing and wearing of face masks are observed.

5.Gambling in all forms is suspended until further notice.

6.Penalties of violating the protocols on wearing of face masks and social distancing and such other prohibited activities shall be penalized under our local ordinance no.2020-19-08 known as "Localizing the new normal to prevent and control the transmission and spread of corona virus disease -19 in the municipality of Lamut.

This order shall take effect on February 1-28,2021.
