I get this question a lot about the gear I use for hiking and camping, so here are the five pieces of gear I always bring with me.

When I first started hiking and camping, I honestly knew nothing. Most of my gear was just borrowed from organizers or friends. Over the past five years, I’ve slowly tried different brands and found the ones I genuinely love and trust.

Good gear isn’t cheap, but if you know you’ll be hiking and camping often, it’s definitely worth the investment. Quality gear can easily last five years or even longer with proper care. And just to be transparent, while majority of these brands have sponsored me, these are the same products I genuinely use on my own trips. I only recommend gear that I’ve personally tested and trusted over the years.
