Still in shock! 🤯 Last night at the Ilocos Norte Tourism Gala, we were honored with an award as creatives. 🎶 For years of partnering with the province in various creative projects, there is no doubt how much Ilocos Norte values creatives and the role we play in shaping tourism.

Working with the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte amd Ilocos Norte Tourism has been and always will be a huge opportunity for EM Productions to grow and advance in our craft, and we are beyond grateful for the recognition.

Looking forward to more collaborations and making more music for our beautiful province!

And just like that, the Tan-ok ni Ilocano Festival of Festivals is finally done.

On behalf of EM Productions, THANK YOU to all the LGUs, creative directors, & tourism officers ng mga contingents who gave us the opportunity to produce their festival dance music. It was such a pleasure working with all of you! Congratulations po sa inyong lahat!

Also, kudos to all my fellow music producers, nailasat tay manen! 😅 May we continue to keep on creating music!

Our Beginnings

EM Productions is a collaborative effort turned business based in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte owned and managed by two Ilocano creatives, Eric and Marianne.

Business director and music producer, Eric manages the production process and services while Marianne, a digital marketer and freelance photographer takes charge of marketing and sales drive. We specialize in recording & music production, audio, sound mixing, and creative multimedia content.

EM Productions started catering to local creatives in the province on January of 2009. The studio did not look like how it is now back then. All we had was a working computer, some audio editing softwares, a basic recording mic, some instruments, and simple monitors. The studio was settled in a small room with sound absorbers made from egg trays, thick curtains, and old bed foams. We used to rent out or borrow equipments for large projects just to serve them with good outputs. After years of hard work, providing quality services, collaborating with local creatives, and Eric’s obsession for building a "real" music studio, EM Productions decided to polish its playground. While also freelancing as a photography and videography business, we were able to slowly start a redevelopment and it was a very tedious process we had to endure. Handling so much workload from our other tasks was really difficult but it was nothing compared to what we wanted to pursue.

Now, we are structured as the only professionally furnished and treated, full-time, working music studio in Ilocos Norte. Although there are a few more tweaks and upgrades to be done, we believe that it is not going to stop from there. We have been given the opportunity to work with projects for big events from different provinces including ours, medium to large businesses, aspiring local artists, and so much more whom we learned to value so much. We also started doing music production and arrangement projects from clients and solo creatives based out of the country like Japan and the US.
