HONORING THE SUBLIME LEGACY:
PANTALEON MODRIGO GETA AT 144

The commemorates the 144th birth anniversary of our local hero, Pantaleon Modrigo Geta, also known as "Generous Philanthropist"

He started from humble beginnings and rose to become a rich man with vast tracts of land in the municipalities of Palapag, Catubig and Laoang. He belonged to a humble a family in Borabod and in his middle age become economically capable. But these did not lead Don Pantaleon to be proud and arrogant-instead he focused more efforts on his beginnings and in the years to come, donated properties to the government which was made into schools, hospitals, and other government projects.

During his term of office, he provided lands that were soon dotted with schools in the barrios particularly Cagdarao, Vigo, Burabod, and Cahayagan.
Aside from the sites mentioned, he also donated tracts of land to the academic community in town-Laoang II which was later named PM GETA in his honor, Colegio de Sta. Teresita, the foremost religious school in the second district, Laoang National Trade School which in now defunct, and the GB Tan Memorial Hospital.

☑ Reactivation of Registration Records
☑ Inclusion of Registration Records and Reinstatement of Name in the List of Voters
☑ Updating of Records of PWD, Senior Citizen, and members of IP and ICC

Registration hours will be from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Mondays to Fridays, including Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays, except when declared otherwise by the COMELEC.

Meanwhile, the Register Anywhere Program (RAP) shall be conducted in the National Capital Region (NCR) and select areas in Region III and Region IV-A from August 1-7, 2025.
