The BFAR-PFO Norte Conducted a meeting to Cooperative consisting of 5 pacific towns with their MAO's, AT's and fisher folks in relation to SAAD project(Fishing Vessel 2102) at BFAR-PFO TRAINING CENTER, Alang Alang, Lapinig , Northern Samar.

Ginpangunahan ini ha Atun Provincial Fisheries Officer Ma'am Maida De La Cruz ngan ha SAAD project coordinator's. Deri gihap mawawara an atun bisita dikan ha PFO Eastern Samar Sir Dan de San Miguel ngan iya staff ngan an atun Bisita dikan sa Central Office an Boat Captain, mechanics and master fisherman.

Damo an napag esturyahan kaapi na labi an pag dugang sa mga meyembro sa kooperatiba ngan eskedyul sa Test fishing .

Origin of our cultured Green algae..

From September 3, 2023, arrival date from Training at RMaTDeC, Lucap , Pangasinan. I have 4 Liters inoculum and 200 ml unaerated inoculum, 2 liters Chlorella vulgaris and 2 Liters Nanno chloropsis. 100 ml each for unaerated inoculum.

We used clear bottles to maintain our inoculum until our water system got fixed. We start primary scale culturing at second week of March and proceed to secondary scale culturing at third week and Mass production at 10 tonner tank ..

Today, we are maintaining 10 tons Chlorella v. as feed to Rotifer..

Assignment: Laboratory Facilities for Advanced Aquaculture Technologies (LFAAT), Research Division (RD) in Tigbauan, Iloilo.

This position is responsible for efficient operation of the LFAAT including implementation of services, maintenance of equipment, and supervision of personnel in order to support on-going research studies and services to third parties.

Responsibilities include:

- Implementing policies and procedures following the laboratory’s Quality Management System;
- Conducting research studies either as study leader or as co-proponent;
- Planning and directing laboratory activities and personnel following experimental protocol relating to various biotechnological research studies;
- Operating, maintaining, and coordinating servicing of laboratory equipment;
- Performing activities in maintaining the PAB Accreditation of the laboratory to ISO/IEC;
- Conducting laboratory analysis-related tasks if needed; and
- Performing tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
