JESUS CHRIST was telling a story of the servant couldn't pay back his debt, so the master ordered that he, his family,
and all his belongings be sold to repay the debt.

The servant fell to his knees and begged the master,
"Please be patient with me, and I will pay everything back."

Essentially, the servant was desperate and pleaded for more time to repay what he owed.

The two other men, who were criminals, were also being taken away to be killed along with JESUS.

When they reached the place called The Skull (also known as Golgotha), they nailed JESUS to a cross. They also crucified the two criminals — one was on HIS right side and the other on HIS left.

While this was happening, JESUS prayed, saying, “FATHER, PLEASE FORGIVE THEM, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.”

Meanwhile, the soldiers were gambling to see who would get JESUS’ clothes.

This prayer is a way to:
Ø TALK to GOD as our LOVING FATHER.
Ø RESPECT HIS HOLINESS.
Ø ASK for HIS HELP in our daily needs.
Ø SEEK HIS FORGIVENESS.
Ø COMMIT to FORGIVING OTHERS.
Ø ASK for STRENGTH to AVOID SINS.

In simple words, LUKE 7:48-50 says:
JESUS told the woman,
“All the wrong things you’ve done are FORGIVEN.”

The people nearby, who were sitting around, started wondering in their hearts, “Who is this man who can FORGIVE SINS?”

Then JESUS said to the woman,
“It’s because YOU BELIEVED and TRUSTED ME that you’re now saved. GO IN PEACE.”

It’s a tender reminder that no matter someone’s past, deep FAITH and TRUST in JESUS brings HEALING, FREEDOM, and PEACE.

That moment shows how JESUS isn’t focused on what someone has done—HE’S focused on their HEART now. When we come to HIM with REAL FAITH, no shame or guilt from the past can keep us from HIS LOVE.

“JESUS sees your HEART, not your history. FAITH unlocks FORGIVENESS—and PEACE follows.” 🙏

In other words, Luke 7:46-47 says:
JESUS was speaking to a man who hadn't shown HIM much kindness or respect.

HE said, “You didn’t pour oil on MY head like a good host would—but this woman lovingly put perfume on MY feet.”

Then JESUS explained why this mattered: “She’s made a lot of mistakes in her life, but she’s been FORGIVEN because she LOVES deeply.

People who think they HAVEN’T DONE much WRONG DON’T FEEL much need to LOVE or be GRATEFUL.”

In everyday terms: When we REALIZE just how much we've been FORGIVEN by GOD, it makes our HEARTS OVERFLOW with LOVE and GRATITUDE.

This woman understood that—and showed her LOVE with every tear and drop of perfume.

In other words, Luke 7:44-45 says:
JESUS looked at the woman and spoke to Simon, saying:

“Take a good look at her. When I came into your house, you didn’t even offer water to wash my feet—something basic and respectful.

But she cried so much that her tears washed my feet, and she lovingly dried them with her hair.

You didn’t greet me with a kiss, but ever since I arrived, she hasn’t stopped kissing my feet.”

It’s a powerful moment. JESUS was showing Simon that this woman, often looked down on by others, was overflowing with LOVE and GRATITUDE.

Her actions spoke louder than any social etiquette. She wasn’t just being emotional—she was honoring HIM with DEEP HUMILITY and DEVOTION.

🌱 Verse 37 — About JUDGMENT, CONDEMNATION, and FORGIVENESS.

“DON'T JUDGE OTHERS harshly, and YOU WON'T be JUDGED harshly either.

DON’T POINT FINGERS and CONDEMN people, or it’ll COME BACK to YOU.
Instead, FORGIVE them — and YOU'LL be FORGIVEN too.”

💡 Everyday meaning:
If YOU go through LIFE being CRITICAL, NEGATIVE, or UNFORGIVING toward OTHERS, expect to RECEIVE that same ENERGY back. But if you CHOOSE MERCY and FORGIVENESS, you're INVITING GOD’S GRACE into YOUR own LIFE.

💧 Verse 38 — ABOUT GIVING AND RECEIVING.
“When you GIVE generously, MORE will be GIVEN BACK to YOU — packed down, shaken together, and overflowing.

The WAY you TREAT OTHERS is the SAME WAY LIFE will TREAT you.”

💡 Everyday meaning:
GENEROSITY brings BLESSING. When YOU GIVE with a FULL HEART — whether it's LOVE, KINDNESS, TIME, or even PHYSICAL THINGS — GOD MULTIPLIES it and POURS it BACK into YOUR LIFE in OVERFLOWING ways.

The QUALITY of WHAT YOU GIVE determines the QUALITY of what COMES BACK.
