Colegio de Las Navas conducted a meaningful and impactful Career Coaching Program for its graduating college students on July 18, 2025, held at the CDLN Quadrangle. Spearheaded by the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), under the leadership of Mr. Athreo A. Alaras. The event aimed to empower graduating students with practical insights, encouragement, and direction as they transition into the world of professionalism and employment.
The program featured an exceptional group of guest speakers from various sectors who generously shared their wisdom, experiences, and guidance with the students. Among the notable and inspiring individuals were:
Hon. Arlito S. Tan Jr., the newly elected Sangguniang Bayan Member and Committee Chair on Education, who delivered a heartfelt and empowering message. Following in the footsteps of his father, the former mayor and founder of CDLN, he emphasized his strong belief that every Las Navasnon deserves access to quality education and opportunities for a brighter future.
Miss Malou M. Ortego, the committed and visionary leader from the DILG-Las Navas Municipal Operations Office, who motivated students to pursue excellence and continue serving their communities with integrity and purpose.
Ms. Rose Anne G. Suan, the dynamic Department Head of the Northern Samar Public Employment Service Office (NS-PESO), who spoke about employment opportunities and the importance of resilience, adaptability, and confidence in navigating today’s competitive job market.
Mr. Leomar J. Orsolino, a proud CDLN alumnus and the dependable Human Resource Management Officer of LGU Las Navas, who tackled the essential topic of workplace etiquette. He shared valuable tips on professionalism, communication, and behavior that will help students thrive in any work environment.
Adding a special moment to the event was the presence of the newly appointed College Administrator of CDLN, Dr. Inday Lynn G. Orsolino, the newly appointed College Administrator of CDLN, gave an inspiring and heartfelt message to the graduating students. She reminded them of their potential to make a positive impact in the world and expressed her deep appreciation to all the guest speakers for their willingness to support CDLN and contribute to the success of the students.
The students left the quadrangle carried with them not only career guidance but also motivation and confidence to face the realities of the professional world with courage and hope.
