NEWS || Colegio De Las Navas Secures 100% Program Compliance from CHED

Colegio De Las Navas reached another significant milestone as it officially received the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for its three academic programs in a formal ceremony held at the CDLN Quadrangle.
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office VIII, led by Regional Director Dr. Maximo C. Aljibe, CESO III, conducted a campus inspection prior to the awarding ceremony. Together with the CHED evaluation team, Dr. Aljibe visited the campus to review its facilities and verify that the institution meets the standards set for higher education institutions.
Following the assessment, CDLN was confirmed to be fully compliant with CHED’s requirements for the following programs:
β€’ Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA)
β€’ Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim)
β€’ Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED)

The program began with an invocation led by Prof. Joyce Bernadeth Y. Celajes, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem conducted by Mr. Athreo A. Alaras.

In her opening remarks, College President Dr. Inday Lynn G. Orsolino expressed her gratitude to CHED and reaffirmed the college’s dedication to academic excellence. She emphasized the importance of complying with national standards to ensure that CDLN’s programs continue to meet the needs of students and local communities.

A key moment in the ceremony was the inspirational message delivered by CHED Regional Director Dr. Maximo C. Aljibe. He highlighted the importance of the COPC in assuring the public of the quality and credibility of academic programs. Dr. Aljibe praised CDLN’s preparedness and commended faculty and staff for their efforts in delivering quality education.

BREAKING NEWS || Colegio De Las Navas Achieves 100% Program Compliance

A significant milestone in the history of Colegio De Las Navas was officially recognized as the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office VIII (CHEDRO VIII) awarded the institution Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for all of its three academic programs: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCRIM), and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED).

The awarding ceremony was personally led by CHEDRO VIII Regional Director Dr. Maximo C. Aljibe, along with the CHED Program Validators. The confirmation of full compliance brought overwhelming joy and pride to the CDLN community, particularly its students and faculty, whose collective dedication and hard work have culminated in this remarkable achievement.

This accomplishment is attributed to the exemplary leadership of Dr. Inday Lynn G. Orsolino, College Administrator, whose guidance led the institution through rigorous quality assurance processes. The unwavering support of the Chairman of the Board and Municipal Mayor, The Honorable John Philbert S. Tan, along with the Board of Trustees and the Sangguniang Bayan members led by Municipal Vice Mayor The Honorable Minda Mercader-Tan, also played a crucial role in reaching this milestone.
Key contributions were also made by the program deans and heads:
β€’ BSBA – Dr. Gregorio M. Orsolino and Prof. Marijustine G. Tan
β€’ BSCRIM – Dr. Leo Carl Rondina and Prof. Annamae C. Durin
β€’ BEED – Dr. Noelda P. Camarines and Prof. Joyce Bernadeth Y. Celajes

Under the academic leadership of Dr. Gregorio M. Orsolino, Vice President for Academic Affairs, the faculty and staff of CDLN worked tirelessly to meet the standards set by CHED, ensuring the institution's programs are fully compliant and aligned with national higher education benchmarks.

The institution also recognized the visionary support of its founder, Former Mayor Arlito A. Tan Sr., whose commitment to student welfare laid the foundation for this success.

CDLN also extends its deepest gratitude to its student body and their parents for their continued support and trust, and to the dedicated CHEDRO VIII validators and personnel, whose encouragement and technical guidance were instrumental in attaining this success.

This is more than just a compliance milestone. It is a historic moment for the institution, a testament to our commitment to quality education, and a beacon of hope for the students as they strive to fulfill their dreams.

With this achievement, Colegio de Las Navas stands proudly among fully compliant higher education institutions, strengthening its mission to provide accessible, quality, and transformative education to the youth of Northern Samar and beyond.
