This Christmas season, the Tae Kwon Do Las Piñas Center joyfully comes together to celebrate not only the spirit of Christmas but also the values that unite us as one family—hope, strength, and courage. Through discipline, respect, and perseverance learned on the mat, our young athletes continue to grow not only as martial artists but as individuals of character.

As we celebrate this special occasion, we give thanks for the dedication of our students, the support of parents, and the guidance of our instructors who inspire excellence both in training and in life.

Las Piñas City — July 25, 2025 — In response to the widespread flooding caused by the recent typhoon, Barangay Ilaya in Las Piñas City launched a house-to-house distribution of 170 sacks of rice to help ease the burden on affected residents.

The relief operation was spearheaded by Barangay Chairman Geny Miranda, with the full support of the Barangay Council,
Brgy Kagawads,Barangay Staff, and committed Day Care teachers who all worked together to ensure that the aid reached even the most affected households.

Chairman Miranda said “This is about showing compassion and presence during times of crisis. Our people are going through a difficult time due to the flood. The initiative prioritized fair distribution and quick response, especially for those most affected by the typhoon’s impact.

Residents expressed their gratitude for the swift action and the personal attention given by the barangay. Chairman Miranda also called on the spirit of bayanihan to remain strong: “Sa panahon ng sakuna, kailangan natin magkaisa. Tayo ay iisang komunidad — magtulungan po tayo.
