Maintenance vs. Gamot: Huwag Magpaloko sa Blood Sugar Numbers

Mga ka-LCHF, linawin natin ang totoo. Marami sa inyo ang kampante dahil "normal" ang blood sugar habang naka-sitagliptin o iba pang maintenance drugs.

Pero eto ang reality check: ang maintenance ay hindi gamot. Ang tunay na gamot, pinapagaling ang sakit. Ang maintenance? Pinipirme ang sakit para habambuhay kang bumibili ng tableta.

Madalas, ginagawa pa nitong "progressive" ang diabetes mo. Bakit? Kasi pinupuwersa lang ng gamot na itago ang asukal sa katawan mo, pero hindi nito tinatanggal ang pinaka-ugat ng problema.

Insulin Spikes: Ang Tunay na Kalaban

Kahit "normal" ang reading sa glucometer, kung ang insulin mo ay tataas naman (Hyperinsulinemia), sadyang lalamunin ka pa rin ng komplikasyon. Ang Type 2 Diabetes ay isang dietary disease, kaya hindi mo ito mapapagaling ng kemikal. Mapapagaling mo ito sa tamang laman ng plato.

Ang Solution? Eat Like a Predator

Gusto mo bang mag-remission? Itapon ang "balanced diet" at "cheat days." Walang moderation sa lason.

• Go Carnivore or Strict Keto: Beef, pork, itlog, at isda. Zero grains, zero asukal.
• Low Carb: Stick to Dr. Bernstein’s 6-12-12 rule (30g carbs a day max), or lower.
• Move: Mag-weights o mag-lakad araw-araw.

Kapag inalis mo ang carbs, bababa ang sugar at hihinto ang insulin spikes. Diyan nagsisimula ang reversal. Ang gamot ay para lang sa emergency, hindi para gawing candy habambuhay.
