LAS PINAS POLICE APPREHENDED AN INDIVIDUAL LINKED TO A VIRAL PHOTO AND VIDEO, ALLEGEDLY COMMITTING A CRIME

The prompt response of the Las Piñas City Police Station to the viral social media report about a person allegedly committing a crime along Alabang-Zapote Road, Talon Uno, Las Piñas City, demonstrates our unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and order. Through swift verification and police action, we were able to identify and arrest the suspect in front of the waiting shed along Alabang-Zapote Road, Barangay Talon Uno, Las Piñas City on August 8, 2026.

He is currently facing charges for Alarms and Scandals under Article 155 of the Revised Penal Code, as well as for Violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) following the confiscation of illegal drugs during his search.

We assure the public that the Las Piñas City Police remains vigilant and responsive to all reports, whether received directly or through social media.
