Samahan ang Kinoise at SAKA sa 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞—isang gabi ng mga pelikula at talakayan tungkol sa kalagayan ng ating mga magbubukid. Gaganapin ito sa Linggo, Agosto 10, 4:00 PM sa Kusina sa Balangay (41 Mapagkawanggawa, QC).

Tampok ang mga pelikulang:

Lupang Hinarang sa Hacienda Vicenta (2009) ni Ditsi Carolino
Pagkatapos ng Tigkiriwi (2018) ni Danielle Madrid

Susundan ang film screening ng maiikling diskusyon kasama ang ating mga magbubukid mula Timog Katagalugan, Cordillera, at Negros upang itampok ang kanilang mga kuwento at tunay na kalagayan ng pamumuhay at pakikibaka.

Pay-what-you-can ang pagtitipon bilang bahagi ng tuloy-tuloy na kampanya para sa pagtataguyod sa karapatan ng mga tagalikha ng ating pagkain.

With the rise of conservatism, sexually intimate and gender radical transgressions are increasingly censored—a monolithic sterilized understanding of lgbtq+ relations and freedom has come to dominate the cinematic sphere. The paradigm shift q***r revolution requires begins with the cultural into the political.

A lesson in sexual diversity, gender identity, feminism, masculinity, nudity, profanity, frivolity, sensationology, blasphemy, exhibitionism, voyeurism, fetishism, ma********on, castration, sadomasochism, r**e, murder, cannibalism, necrophilia, so**my, and scatology.

These films challenge us to articulate new paradigms and politics regarding sexuality and gender. Intersectional, irreverent q***r expressions in film should not only be seen as mere representation, but also as the conduit to our liberation.
